12 feels like 0 here at almost 9am. had some crazy weather here lately. there have been 4/5 instances of salt trucks dumping over on their sides. supposed to get to 32 today and keep warming up through the weekend. hope to see a lot of this melting and going into the lake. I have to sat that piker county sheriff Charlie reader and the road crews stayed right on top of things.

The level 3 emergency called on Tuesday afternoon was a joke. The main roads were as clear as could be. I know back roads were still snow covered because I live on one, but they were not so bad that it warranted closing down all the roads in the county. I drive Rt 772/Potts Hill/Spargursville Rd/Jones Levy/Rt 50 to Chillicothe every day. There are not many roads as tough as Spargursville. It required caution but was by no means impassable, and that is in a 10 year old Taurus. I drove home from work during the level 3 coming back down 23 and back out to Buchannan and never even got my tires wet until I got on Trego Rd. I know there were some wrecks, but those people had to have been driving too fast for the conditions.

I am proud of charlie for being bold enough to keep folks safe. if was according to his facebook page because of backroads. that has to be a hard call at times flush. -------------------------- right now it's 22 feels like 15, and a high today supposed to be at 41, so melt that snow, n fill that lake up. currently they are working on the berm project and hope to be at full winter pool by april 2018. I hope that is the only problem left to fix. I got me 2 more Christmas trees fer under the dock. that'll make 5 under there, and I'm gonna stop there. but I still want to get some and band them together and weigh them down for around the banks. hopefully they get these problems all worked out this winter n spring.
