Re: DII - Logan sectional
Fairfield Union is rolling right now, beat Hamilton Twp by 21 tonight. That's a good win. They play Teays Valley on Saturday. FU is playing well and getting better every game.
Re: DII - Logan sectional
Circleville lost to Carroll 60-42.
And I will say Amanda looks like a completely different team than the beginning of the season. I got a feeling that won't look like a bad loss for Fairfield at the draw.

Re: DII - Logan sectional
Beat Chillicothe on Saturday and the argument is Stronger! Sheridan has big games coming up before the draw also. John Glenn and Tri-Valley

Woohoo !!! Congratulations to Coach Stiverson on putting #300 in the win column !!! it has to be soooo satisfying to get #300 vs Bloom Carroll as well as doing it with a group of youngsters led by his lone senior Cody Anderson ... getting the W as an underdog , holding the opponent under 50 points , so many historically correct pieces of what Coach Stiverson has done every step of the way at LE - I haven't seen the napkin stats but I am willing to bet the 3 ball played big in the outcome of this one for LE - I know right ,not a tough call on that one LOL ... the 3 ball another LE mainstay ... puts a smile on my face - great coach, great staff, great program ... Congratulations all around ...

Re: DII - Logan sectional
Completely different team than the last couple of times I watched them. Stagnant on offense, missed a dozen bunnies when they did get them and struggled guarding the ball with inconsistent help. No energy.Falcon01 wrote: Thu Feb 01, 2018 9:01 pmAnd then they lose to LU tonight... wowbman wrote: Wed Jan 31, 2018 12:53 am Circleville lost to Carroll 60-42.

I may have to take that comment back since they go vs. Hammy on Saturday, @ Unioto on Tuesday and @ Fairfield Union on Friday. Hopefully they turn it back on.
Re: DII - Logan sectional
So you want to discuss strength of schedule in how it applies to seeding, yet you include teams that warren has on their schedule AFTER the seeds are decided. (Logan, Chillicothe) Who exactly are Warren's QUALITY wins other than some WV teams ranked in the "30's" (out of who knows how many total schools there are in WV) Then when it comes to sheridan's schedule you conveniently left FU, JG TWICE, TV TWICE, PHILO TWICE off. They also beat a Maysville team that beat Vinton by 20 and beat Morgan twice (who beat Warren)pfloyd wrote: Sun Jan 28, 2018 2:35 pm Warren SoS
Fort Frye home & away W/W ...
Meadowbrooke home & away (L) by 4 ... 14-3
Parkersburg South (#4 in WVa - all divisions/schools combined) (L) by 6
@ Parkersburg (8-6) (L) by 6 - #35 All divisions/schools combined
Parkersburg Catholic (10-5) (W) #30 All divisions/schools combined
Chillicothe ... 12-4
@Logan ... 14-1
Waterford ... 8-3
@New Philly (L) by 3 ... 10-5
..... others since they were brought up , I would count them as middle of the road teams
Morgan x 2 ... L opening night by 7 ... W in the rematch by 10
@Alexander ... W by 9
@ Athens ... W by 23
..... Fairfield Union SoS
South & Beechcroft are legitimate excellent teams L by 26 /L by 10
Teays Valley (L by 2 in OT)
Both Watterson & St. Charles are nowhere the teams of last year or years past they are legitimately DOWN ... L to Amanda CC is a BAD loss ... quality win ?
... Sheridan SoS
John Glenn (L)
Philo (L)
Tri Valley (W) OT ... only quality W

I usually don’t get on here to comment, just like to read....but treyman, you put the big letters AFTER in there when “YOUR” facts are not correct. The Chillicothe game is tomorrow night which happens to be before the seeds.....just sayin’. Sounds like you got a burr stuck somewhere by trying to nit pick. Come next Sunday, it will all come out in the wash. I will plan on making the trip to Logan just to watch Sheridan play. I like watching good basketball games. Just to let you know, I like rooting for the underdogs!! As long as it’s not my team, I LOVE upsets!! The joy you see on those high school boys faces are priceless if it happens. Best of luck to all Logan Sectional teams.

Re: DII - Logan sectional
Has anybody seen Sheridan? They are clicking and sound like a tough matchup. Heller a stud guard at 6’1 and great scorer, good 6’4 forward, Heileman a 6’7 post player who always gets a double double. Amare Royster a 6’8 post player. They play a freshman and sophomore a lot and those two have been key and FWIW in the future their JV team is 16-0
Re: DII - Logan sectional
Hosting Alexander and then Morgan (Morgan pretty decent?).....those two matchups help some but that stretch should be all wins which is obviously great, but hopefully the lack of difficulty the last several games doesn’t hurt them in their 1st tourney game when they’ll face a team much better than any of those. Getting pushed by one of those last two would help IMO93Bulldog wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2018 10:23 pm Athens on a 5-game winning streak ... make for an even more interesting sectional if the streak reaches 10 before tournament play ...
