This was to me from Sam Webb....

both practiced today, both on the team. We told that as of tonight there has not been anything 'going on' there as far as leaving.

Also....With 3 players gone, this free's up two more scholarships.

Rod choked for us last year against USF and Pitt.

SHould we conduct a poll, maybe see if people actually care what you have to say? We can ask the same for me. I would put money on it that I get a much more positive response. Marshall is Marshall. I have been around the program I garuntee more than you for the last four years. I have worked professionally for them. They are collecting a check, nothing more when playing these games. The Wisconsin payout is terriable though. I am thinking around $300,000. They could have played another home game against a nobody and collected 5 times that amount. They have no reason to play OSU, Tennessee, WVU, Wisconsin, etc. They are not at that level. It does them absolutly no good.

THe fact that you say you think Dubs is an OSU fan is hilarious.

Like I said, you contribute nothing to this site. Your best post was, Pryor is going to win the Heisman next year. You don't add any insight. Everything you have to say is extremly vague.

Orestes,

Yes the rumors are true. Mike Cox has left the program, as well as Taylor Hill. Cox was a product of the Carr days, and Hill just wasn't on that level. Cox saw the light in the runningback race. He would have been lost in the depth chart. Witherspoon is not a part of the team, but will enroll at a JC because he didn't qualify academically. He is still a UM commit, but his recruitment will open back up. None of this has anthing to do with RR.

I find this hard to believe just because your in the media. So far you offer nothing to the insight about Marshall except your childish comments about how they suck, are lowly, a joke and playing for paychecks. In 2004 they were a 55 yard field goal away from beating or tieing OSU. They beat #6 KSU not long after that and had WVU down at half time last year. They had a 22 year winning streak and now they are coming back. So, don't give me this BS about you knowing more than everyone about Marshall, OSU or even Michigan. I'm sure there are other people that have as much insight as you if not more. Your not on ESPN and people don't live by your every post. So, get off your soap box.

Like I have stated prviously, I don't comment on things which I know little about. I would love to know anyone on this site that adds more insight than myself about Michigan. You ask it either I have the answer or I can get it rather quickly.

I have a lot of respect for OSU. I don't have to post much about OSU because I know Orestes, ballparent, Dubs, and people like that have plenty.

I know Marshall. I have been on the field with them, in the locker room, in the weight room, out on the town with some of my friends who have and currently play for Marshall. I know about the current state of the program, which is pretty much all that matters. They were a very good 1-aa and mid-major program for some years, but thos years are gone.

You ever went to a State of Marshall Athletics meeting? If you have you can see why we honestly play teams like WVU, Tennessee, OSU, etc. Marshall opperates on a teny tiny budget. They need the money. The program doesn't play these games because they are at that elite level.

Yes I work in the media. I have many many many ties and connections. I have worked scout combines, written for scout, I have been on recruiting trips, I talk to AD's regularly, Sports Information Directors, Radio Play-by Play men, and players. So yes, I do have insight because of my contacts. There is not a more educated or personally connected Michigan fan than me on this site. Period.

I would love to get conversation back on sports if possible.

I do expect to see him. He has been working with the one's and two's this week. He is the big back in this offense and he will be used in short yardage situations.

A big reason Mike Cox left was because Minor, Grady, Brown, Horn, Shaw, and McGuffie are all back with 3 freshman coming in next season. I fully expect Avory Horn to leave after the season.

Any idea on where Avory Horn might transfer to. If not where do you see him landing up at Peake.

he's from California, my guess would be San Diego State of maybe San Jose State. It is not written in stone, but he is not going to touch the field and the dpeth chart is only going to get deeper.

I think Grady should get more playing time I know before he got hurt he was a good back to bring in and pick some yards up. I also think they should let brown run the ball more than one carry I know there is alot of back but still he is probally better than shaw

You still think he better then Shaw? Shaw is a different type of back than Grady, but I still don't know why Brown doesn't get a carry or two. I honestly think Shaw instead of McGuffie should be the starter, but Shaw has more issues with putting it on the ground than McGuffie.
