look, as a vol fan for a while now, its hit or miss every year with them. they can play down to the competition, no matter how bad, but they can play with the very best at any time. its the coaching, fulmer cant motivate plain and simple. they had a terrible game plan. tenn should have run the ball almost every down with all returning starters on the o-line plus arian foster. the rookie off cood didnt make the necessary adjustments.

I agree Tennesse should have kept running the ball. UCLA couldnt stop the big back when they piched it outside to him. Im thinking Foster was his name.

Tennessee was and still should be considered to be a threat to Florida and Georgia in the SEC east.

Yet they went out west and choked on it against a mid to lower level Pac-10 school.

I don't know, it seems to me that Tennessee and especially Florida have been going in opposite directions for quite some time now. Florida has won the past three meetings as well.
Tennessee got destroyed by Florida last year, but beat Georgia, who is 6-2 against tennessee since 2000.
I think Tennessee is still better than South Carolina and UK, but there isn't much of a gap anymore, while the gap between themselves and Florida/Georgia is widening....
