Re: The Tourney at Meigs
Coaches should do all they could to get it right. Not hard to change your vote after Friday. Obviously Webster should be a 5 or 6 based on strength of schedule. We'll see.

Re: The Tourney at Meigs
I think whats gonna hurt us (Jeeps) is that weve played a tough schedule but we haven't beaten anyone good. Our only argument is some close losses but it seems like coaches never consider that during tournament time
our wins this year are against Clay (2 wins), ND (1 win), East (3 wins), Valley twice (4 wins), Northwest (6 wins) and West (6 wins). Only have one road win all season and that was at valley. Which is why I think a 6 or 7 is fair for us and that's fine because once Blevins comes back I think we can compete with anyone in this sectional.
Hopefully we can get Green tonight a division 4 foe that would help us lock up the 6 and maybe even get the 5.

Re: The Tourney at Meigs
Trimble will get the #1 seed in the bracket, and for the most part, everyone knows that. Yes, its partially because they held off on a game that could have sealed it, or knocked them back to a number 2 seed. But it is what it is.
From what I have read and seen if you're not a number 1 seed, and you want to have a cleaner shot through the tournament, Southern might undersell themselves and shoot for a 3 seed, simply to avoid Coal Grove. Would other coaches fall for it, probably not. But this voting system is screwed up, now buddies can try to protect one and screw over another coach. Should be face to face, so that way you have to show your face before you try and throw a seeding. Anyone can hide from behind a computer screen. I mean shoot, look at all the guys on here....have the crap said on here would never be said if they were facing that person. Technology is great, but in some instances, it just needs left out of the equation.

Not that it technically matters but are you putting Belpre over Miller? Seems like a definite 4 vs 5 game93Bulldog wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2018 10:01 pm Official standings before voting closes at midnight ...

Re: The Tourney at Meigs
Yes, they just beat them 71-57 on Tuesday. I'd put Belpre at 4
Belpre (6-1) in their last 7
Miller is just (2-3) in their last 5
Belpre (6-1) in their last 7
Miller is just (2-3) in their last 5
Re: The Tourney at Meigs
I knew Belpre was the hotter team, just couldn’t remember off hand how their head to head went.
I’ve only seen South Webster and South Gallia in this sectional
Re: The Tourney at Meigs
Belpre owns 2 head to head wins vs miller . non league losses for Belpre
d 1 Marietta
d 2 morgan
d 2 warren
fort fry
at caldwell
pretty tough non league
Re: The Tourney at Meigs
