ECU DOES IT AGAIN!!

i like to watch this team play i mean hard nose runners talented QB and some players that just make so sick moves when they have the ball and the defense is good. Looking at the rest of ECU's schedule well they keep this up easily a one or 2 loss season and just maybe undeafeated (just dont trip over Marshall) but no BCS champ game or nothing like that but a very respectable bowl.

Michigan got Michigan beat by Utah, not RR. He can only put the players in position to be successful, they have to execute. I don't care who is coaching Michigan with the situation they are in (lack of depth, inexperience, etc), the outcome would be similar.

If I am not mistaken your almighty Buckeyes were a few turnovers away from an upset. Ohio out played and led OSU for 3 quarters. What would have happend if the kid wouldn't have fumbled the punt? Who knows, but don't give me this we are so almighty bull. I would looooooooove to see Tressel coach the team Michigan has now, and than see how much success he has.

Michigan left a lot of points on the field. Hemmingway was wide open for a TD and Threet missed him, and at that point it was already 10-0. Threet also missed Stonum wide open, and Carson Butler in the endzone. Not to mention a missed FG that would have put UM ahead 13-0. Stevie Brown had an interception at the Miami 25 and dropped it. A lot of points were left on the field today.

All I have heard is how RR is going to run UM in the ground, and though it was a tough loss to swallow last week, the WVU loss (domination) makes it a little better.

If JT were coaching Michigan's team now, they would have Mallet, Arrington, and Boren. They would go 9-3 or 8-4, depending on how good Mallet really is at QB.

That was the deal more than anything, that Mallet wanted to be the man, and didn't want UM actively persuing Pryor. I will give you Boren still being there, and maybe even Arrington. Like I said give JT this current team (present roster) and than see if he fairs any better.

He would have sat on the ball offensively against Utah, and would have tried to win it with special teams and defense. I think RR abandoned the run a bit, and just started winging the ball around with very mediocre QBs. He would have used a similar strategy as the 2002 team IMO. Run the clock, punt, play defense, get good field position, go for the strike when the field position is good.

BTW, what do you think about Shaw and Odoms? Who ever told you this kid is soft was crazy. Odoms doesn't seem to have that second gear, but has a nice shake.

didnt really surprise me that wvu was upset by ecu but being handled the way they were is what got me. defense must get better or wvu wont win more than 8 games this year.
disappointed in the play of oline... suppose to be one of best in the country.
ecu has great chance of going undefeated and making it to bcs bowl this year.

The year that Tressel had a freshman starting RB, a QB that had only started 1 game in his carrer, and a trio of WRs that had one freshman and one sophomore in the lineup.....

ECU simply outplayed WVU and deserved to win the game. Very similar to last year's 2 losses (with Rod) against USF and Pitt.

ECU has beaten 2 ranked teams in 2 weeks. I bet they jump into the polls.



WVU's defense has had the tendencies over the past several years to overplay the run fake with their secondary and make the other team's QB look like a world beater. I believe ECU was 22-28 in the passing department.

Also, WVU did a poor job of tackling.

Learn from your mistakes and get ready for next week.

WVU got it handed to them because they have no defense from last year and only two players to shut down. White and Devine. The O-line sure didn't live up to the billing as the best in the country either. The honeymoon is over for Bill Stewart.

I said this a couple months ago and will say it again, w/o RR WVU will return to mediocracy and see alot of 7-5 years even in the Little East. Now, I never saw this coming this soon and I agree MM the honeymoon is over for Mr Stewart. Kudos to ECU back to back weeks!! They are fun to watch and show the true meaning of TEAM football. They are really having some fun out there. This is a sign of things to come in Morgantown in the next few years, just like before RR came to town. I love it!!!! Have been to Morgantown and would NEVER go back for a game. Maybe they should schedule UM in a few years????? lol Waiting for Auburn to come calling!!!

peake, Don't let anyone chase RR out of UM quite yet, he is a winner and will return them to the promise land, DEFINITELY not with this team or this year but in the future he will prevail. He is playing blackjack with all 2s and 3s right now but those 2s and 3s will become jacks in time, especially in his regime.
