Top freshman in the area

Saw a post like this on the boys side of things so why not the girls. I’ll start by saying Morgan Bentley from VC as a freshman she was/is the leading scorer for the lady Vikings this season, she’s not afraid to pull up from just past half court, and she makes them! She’s also big bodied and can handle the ball can drive the lane and finish with contact and has a sweet pull up jumper! This girl should hit the 1000 point career mark and I would say if not at the end of her junior season then it will be towards the beginning of her senior, looking forward to lady viking basketball in the future

Peebles also has another on the reserve team who is a real sleeper. Lilly Gray.Remember that name. These reserve girls had only one loss this year,last friday at North Adams vs North Adams undefeated reserve girls by 1 point.

I'm trying to get the stats for Zoiee Smith. With 3 to 4 games remaining in the regular season they were pretty impressive for a Freshman. She was over 100 assists and close to breaking Waverly's Freshman scoring record boy or girl.

Logan has a couple in Myriah Davis and Avery Thompson plus a third that I can't think of her name.

Lathem Western had a nice freshman , with potential. Quick, nice ball handler, sees the floor well, watched her against PV, cant think of her Name.

Third freshman from Logan is the Lunsford girl. Saw her when Circleville played down there.

Peyton Lunsford is the other Freshmen on our list. Nice player can get her own shot and plays hard. Watched Logam play Marietta and they stood out for sure

Bentley is the best fresh in the area. The 3 from Logan are legit. Justice is a great fresh as well. Smith is strong as well. All 6 said but from what I’ve watched those are the 6 best.

Zoiee Smith, Point Guard - Waverly
As of tonight with their Sectional win over McClain

POINTS: 330
(13 tonight). With a couple FT's in the 2nd half Zoiee became the record holder for most points in a season as a Freshman at Waverly, boy or girl.

ASSISTS: 123
From what we can tell the record at Waverly for a 4 year H.S. career is 161

STEALS: 53

REBOUNDS: 117

Federal Hocking has a few freshman to enter into the mix. Paige Tolson, Kylie Tabler, and Emma Beha have been huge for that team's success this season.

Addi Dillow from (Dawson-Bryant)Coal Grove, handles ball, sees the floor, quick hands, rebounds well, and has many assist.

Olivia Clarkson of Oak Hill had a solid year for a young Oak Hill team. Solid all round player.
