I haven’t smoked in 35 years and have never smoked weed. I’ve been reading this site religiously for a long long time. Athens has every ounce of steam and Vinton is good enough to stay afloat. Yates and Speakman are very good and so is Combs but it’s just clear as anything how Athens is rolling. No idea how they lost so much the first half. Definitely have improved alot. They are one of the hottest teams but it’s not anything lucky but just have figured things out. Nice size and skill and play as a team for each other. That’s hard to beat. I mean sure Vinton could beat them but I just flat out don’t see it.

First half woes for Athens I heard was half the team quit then after an 0-9 start to the season was allowed to join the team again

I too noticed Athens playing more like a team and seemed to trust each other more. I was impressed with some obvious plans that Cozart put in against Alexander. They will not be able to post up Saltzman against VC, but that might be the best coaching I have seen out of Athens in two years.

I still like VC in this game tough, but I expect a good game.

Good news is this game will produce a sectional title for a TVC team.

To bad southeast district, can't do like the east district and the higher seeds gets a home game for the sectionals,they wouldn't have to start there tournaments so soon,then they would have a little more time to get there makeup games in,east district sec semis all are played on 2-27, anybody with a bye don't play till 3-2 in The sectionals finials

Fractured tibia i think they said on the broadcast like 2 or three games later. I think even if he could get out of the boot, it would be too dramatic of a change to insert him at this point. As great as it would to see him at full strength even IF Athens makes a run, I would think they would use him sparingly.
