Beatting my MVNU Cougars twice now, they are for real. Good job Bears. Keep up the good work. Got to root on my Cougars when it's head to head, but love to see the locals do good!

Haha. The girls b-ball team is LOADED this year.

As for volleyball, the team is now 33-2 on the year and 9-2 in conference play. They host Rio Grande Tuesday with just three conference games (and five overall) left on the year.

Isn't there a post season tournament for volleyball? If so, when and where? I have not seen anything posted on the SSU website or in the local paper.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Walsh University claimed the American Mideast Conference regular season volleyball title. The No. 24-ranked Cavaliers, 28-10 overall, wrapped up an automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship.

Walsh claimed the outright AMC crown with a three-set home victory against Point Park. The Cavaliers are not required to play in the six-team AMC Tournament which will be hosted by Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio on Nov. 14-15. The winner is awarded the league’s second NAIA automatic bid.
