Yep no arguing who's number 1 now,,, Bama killed em left no doubt and probably should have won the first game also,tide defense was ferocious swarming all over the ball,by far best defense I have witnessed in awhile,really thought LSU would put up a better fight

Read yesterday where the Honey Badger said he learned the mother's names of the Alabama players so he could talk trash and throw them off of their game. Guess the Alabama players learned the LSU players family trees!

I guess just too much SEC speed on D for LSU.LOL, that is all we would have heard with any other team in the game.Didn't watch,History Channel had new shows' and not a single pair of gold pants.Girls basketball was more entertaining.

Well, I did watch the game, pre-show, and post game, the special on it the night before, etc. I'm in Alabama and that's all they have been showing for a week. They had a tail-gate party here in in the RV Park , in of all places, Auburn, who are Alabamas biggest rivals. Everyone here were confident that Alabama would win. The BCS does need a shake up,like a play off system between the different conferences, but Alabama did show who the better team was last night by holding LSU to under 100 yds. and a 21-0 game. The Crimson Tide rolled last night.

I didn't watch the game. I had no interest in the game at all. And now a team is our "National Champion" even though they failed to win their division within their own conference.

So a team in the NFL who does not win their division is not worthy to be Champions? Only division winners should be worthy? Seems to me wild cards have won the Super Bowl.

Alabama rolled LSU who had previously beaten the Tide by a FG on OT earlier in the year. Offense is fun to watch but defense wins championships. Alabama is worthy of the title.

Whatever reasons for the teams being in this game it was still played. Well played by Alabama where most of the LSU players didn't play at the high level. Alabama earned the BCS based on how it is set up now. Whether it be the ESPN Bowl or not. They shut down LSU only allowing 1 drive by LSU to cross the 50 yard line. Also the Honey Badger showed he is not a great DB all the time. He is more like Randy Moss who would make great plays and take some plays off.

LSU could not make the big plays to score or make game changing turnovers. Where Alabama played solid as a team all around. Alabama didn't score a TD until late in the game but they were making FG's. By just getting FG's that kept LSU in the game but LSU just could not do anything on offense. Alabama played to win the game this time and LSU showed up to atleast win the AP Championship by keeping it close.

NO, you don't win your conference let alone your division you shouldn't be in the National Title Game.

Nice trying to compare the BCS to the NFL Playoff system, like that analogy is worth anything.

Hats off to Bama, they beat LSU and were the much better team on the field last night.

Didn't really have much interest in this game but hats off to Bama on great defensive performance. In all fairness to LSU they played pretty well defensively. Up until the end of the game and Richardson finally got in the endzone, the LSU D played well in keeping their team in the game. Especially for a LSU D that spent most of the night on the field. I was kinda surprised LSU didn't try jarret lee any at all with the poor play by Jefferson but it is what it is.

Alabama deserved the game last night. Still kind of odd to see them as national champions but yet LSU is sec champions and sec west champion. Lol

As peake mentioned there's not a comparison between the NFL and NCAA champion as far as how it's setup. In the NFL, if a wild card team can run the table through the playoffs and win the superbowl they deserve it. A wild card team has never been put into a the superbowl by default because the computers say so. If NCAA had a playoff system and of some sort, 4,8,16 teams whatever and bama made their way to the title by running the table, then there would be no argument whats so ever of who deserves to be champion.

I watched some of it, it was a snooze fest. Hell, Georgia Southern was able to score 21 on Bama this year.
