My predictions

1.Burg
2.West
3.Minford
4.Waverly
5.Oak hill

Top 4 will be heavily competitive

you're way off if you have Oak HIll and Northwest ahead of valley you're crazy

1.) Burg only if Carmichael plays could be waverly
2.) Waverly is for sure #2 maybe #1 if Howell comes out and performs like his old self
3.) West - they have the pitching the compete but could fall to 5 if they don't hit which Hurd and Knittle are their only hitters
4.) Minford - have no pitching their only hope is Lindamood I see them struggling to score and struggling to keep people from scoring
5.) Valley - Cunningham Jones and Morrow are top 10 players in SOC and need to build around them young talent could make them into top 3
6.)Northwest - they are just lucky to be above the bottom two
7.)Oak hill lost Spriggs which was the main reason they were towards the top last season
8.) Webster lost everyone gonna be a rough year

If you want to fire someone for cussing. You need to look at Valley. I don’t know the dudes name but I couldn’t count the number of “F” bombs that came out of his mouth. And that was just the one game I saw.

Burg then Waverly then West then Minford or Valley would be how I would see top of the standings. Why wouldn't Carmichael play? Waverly has some arms and a good coaching approach that would win some pitching duels so can't count them out. Oak Hill seems to always find some players so they would be my dark horse I suppose.

Soft parents have raised soft kids. 20-30 years ago you would never hear a parent complain about this sort of thing. Want a program to thrive, leave the program to the coaches. No matter who the coach is. Support the team, school, and board.

First scrimmages in less than a month. Good to be close to another season getting underway.

My thought is that if there is a year that Waverly wins it, it will be this one. This is a talented team. Of course they have to get by the always loaded burg though.

First year in a long time Burg doesn't have the perceived top arm going into the season. Have to think Howell holds that honor right now. Burg is still king until someone can step up and take the crown but I agree that this is the first year in a long time where they are not the clear favorite. Waverly and West both have strong teams and Minford is always a tough game.
