I will take the High Road for my Final Post. Congratulations to the Vikings. Only one team can advance. But super proud of those Bulldogs who most thought and believed didn't have a chance. We were not pushovers and both teams battled till the end. So you all can get on here and be classless because you don't like me, but don't you for a second not give those Bulldog players some Respect and appreciate the game they played. It was a Great season Bulldogs and looking forward to next year already.

Game was just as expected. Two good teams battling for a spot at the Convo. Both teams missed free throws tonight that could have changed the game. Speakman took over in OT scoring the first 7 points of the session. Congrats to the Vikings, looking forward to PFloyds napkin stats and commentary of his view of the game. Convo bound again for the Vikings. Love basketball this time of year. Looking for some quality ball at the Convo over the next few weeks.

Really?? Athens got lucky the game went to OT. VC was up 8 the entire game. As predicted Combs outcoached and VC's SUPERIOR players outplayed the puppies. Enjoy the remaining games from the couch. We will be at the Convo..... Again. Yawn

They got lucky that Athens missed 2 FTs after VC missed 2 of their own on the previous possession. They also got lucky that they were called for traveling with 3 seconds left when they would've had a pretty good look at the basket. They got lucky that Athens didn't score in overtime.

Congrats to Coach Combs, I underestimated the team, I really felt that Athens inside play would be the difference, but what a good job holding Butcher down from his scoring average. Good Luck in the Districts.

Athens down 8 late really had some good offensive possessions to get back even. I thought their strategy that worked out, of fouling on purpose on their 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th fouls, targeting mostly Speakman and not even going for steals and just whacking was bad, but they got away with it with the great offense and got it tied and had 2 FTs under 10 sec.
