It’s not been standard procedure to terminate and re open the football Head Coach position. That is definitely something new for ironton. I do agree Vass should be the head coach, especially at this point. Changing now would probably affect the team.

He is the problem with the program. He had his chances but being as lazy as he is has caused everyone to step back and hope changes are on the way.

He maybe a good man but he is a terrible coach. I could see why area teams would want him to stay.

If this who they are mentioning from Jackson that might be interested in Ironton job. He has an impressive resume. Why wouldn’t Ironton be interested in him coaching instead of Vass.

i believe he has underachieved at jackson he has huge numbers and steamrolled what s left of a good conference. remember his other stops were not so impressive and his dad is a lot of the jackson success

I am sure parents will but that won’t pay the bills.

All you have to do is go to the front office and get permission. By the way I also had one of the administrators with me who see the same thing.

Are you a Vass supporter? By the way my coaching days are over I am almost 80 years old but I know bad coach when I see one. If you think Vass is good give me 3 things that he does well besides sitting on his butt. All the teams Ironton is playing are hoping he stays.

I only watched him last season, they had a lot of injury's that hurt them, the last three games
more than half the starters were out,so it would unfair for me to judge him.
I do think he needs a staff around him. I have a family member on the team, and
he likes coach Vass.
