So far in the 2nd half the Trojans are looking like the team that beat the Buckeyes and not the one that played the first half of this game.

Whoa Nelly!!! USC just scored a very guick TD. It's going to come down to OSU recovering the onsides kick. If USC recovers it they will probably come back to win.

OSU recovers the onsides kick and just has to hold on to the ball and run out the clock.

At this point in time i think rankings are just numbers put beside a teams name...and i think if their were no rankings a lot of teams that are losing would win and vice versa it's a mental aspect at the college level IMO!!!

Pete Carroll is a coach who coaches with high emotions. His teams step up to the Big Stage with great emotions. However, it doesn't cut it during the grind of an entire season. He has lost an uncanny number of these kind of games.

It just goes to show you that not every trojan can outlast a good beaver.

Especially if it's a hungry little beaver with nasty gnawing teeth. Then that Trojan doesn't stand a chance.
Reminds me of the movie "Teeth". If you don't know what I mean then Google it and you'll see.

Re: U.S.C. at Oregon State
Pretenders as usual. For all of those who think Pete Carroll is THE coach in college football this is becoming a normal thing for USC. I wonder if they can handle Stanford this year? IMO the greatness of any coach is how many games they lose that they shouldn't. Do you handle the teams you should? If you lose to a high ranked team that is somewhat expected. Avoiding the upset is one of the toughest things to do in any coaching.
