Re: U.S.C. at Oregon State
i know the voters like to put the big 10 vs pac 10 in the rosebowl. But what do ya think they will do if both teams run the table out. A rematch,
it would be a better game than the frist one cause they would prb have been and a more exp TP. I for one wouldn't mind seeing another game. Just wanted to get peoples thought on this one.

I just want to congratulate Coach Riley. He is a great coach and a very good person, as is his whole family.
Re: U.S.C. at Oregon State
Oregon St played early in the year against Stanford and they were impressive. Their QBs poise and accuracy was incredible at times. Then they came out and laid an egg against PSU so this was definitely not a predicted loss for USC but their caoches came in with a plan and adjusted better than USC's coaches. Oregon St has the ability to compete but have shown alot of inconsistancy to this point. I love it when USC loses but wish the Bucks could have been the team in their way rather than the Beavers. Just goes to show that you never know what to expect when a Trojan meets a Beaver. lol Someone is going to end up on top. Boy their is a list of clever comments about this one huh???
As far as the Bucks are concerned, they will still need alot of help getting to the NC game but if they win out they could easily meet those Trojans again in the Rose Bowl. Will it be a different game?? OSU needs to concentrate on getting better at every aspect of the game before we can make it a close game with them. As for JT, I love the man (man love) as a person and head figure but the "calling for his head" thing stems from him not addressing problems within the staff and NOBODY knows what kind of meetings the staff has had or that he has had with individuals on that staff since that game. The development process just isn't what it should be nor is the gameplanning or schemes that we attempt to accomplish. Development is horrible, we need teachers of the game. Cooper relied on thugs that were already at the next level playing wise and didn't need teachers of the game. We don't recruit those kids anymore and need to develop the studs that we get rather than let them develop bad habits. I'll throw a name out there for the DC job, how about Chris S. We need someone with a set calling the shots on d. Our scheeme works against inferior competition which is nearly 90% of the games we play but so would just telling the guys to call their own shots and just go play the game. Coaches are graded on competing with teams from the underdog perspective and nobody remembers games won against teams they should beat but rather teams they are not supposued to beat. So far JT has one win against a team that was the outright favorite against tOSU except UM and nobody is a favorite in that game. We are tOSU and our tradition of winning and excellence helps the recruiting process but let's try to make the kids better by teaching technique consistant with those used at the next level. Another question is why is our o line coach calling the plays, better yet why do we run a mediocre hs passing offense rather than a solid college passing game?? Again if we are superior to everyone it works but evenly matched athletes are able to shut down our passing game with a solid man defense. Too vanilla!!!!! Make the QB spot easier and we will get QB recruits every year not just once every 30 years.
