Athens took a turn as state runner up ...
NY won a regional championship this past year ...
The Hocking continuously puts at least three teams in the playoffs year in and year out ...

Yep! And it's a strong baseball conference and just last year basketball put two teams in the Regionals...then you have an amazing Hocking girls basketball league. Nothing to hang their heads about, plus I think Waterford wins today if Lang was 100% the whole year.

Do Soc ll play soc l during the regular season or are they separate leagues?

Separate. There is some crossover —- but it does not count in league standings. 8 teams in each league.

SOC2 has 1 D2 team —- Waverly
6 D3 teams —- oak hill, burg, valley, nw, Minford and west
1 D4 team —- South Webster

Soc1 has 2 D3 teams —- Eastern and Western
6 D4 teams. —- Green, NB, Clay, ND, East and SV.

It will be this way for 1 more year.

In 19-20 season. St Joe joins small school and Eastern moves up to SOC2. 17 teams.

No clearing Friday. They put 2:00 in between District Finals start times instead of the 1:45 for the Semifinals for the District Medal ceremony and the Cutting down of nets.

No. And only between the divisions on Saturday. You can see all 6 District Title games over the 2 days for $18 a person, which is a great deal.

That is correct. Court Street and their bevy of fine dining will be within walking distance after the 2nd game.
