If Pryor threw the balls he threw against Minnesota anywhere near Florida's DB's, he would have thrown 4 INT. Ohio State's line couldnt control Florida's d-line and Florida has the speed to contain Pryor. He would have his big plays, but not like he did against Troy or Minnesota. It may be an ugly game, but I see it as a 24-10 game at a neutral site.

Of course you do. Shocking. Amazing, a high school kid/Florida fan saw both in person, and now he can accurately predict the outcome of a matchup between the two schools.

I'm just disappointed that OSU can't stack up with Ole Miss. Plus, I would love to see Florida stop Beanie Wells. He had over 7 yards per carry against LSU with the same O-line, while LSU was selling out to stop him. Yes, Florida's defense is awesome compared to LSU of 07.

Florida's DBs suck big time. Even most Florida fans will admit it. It's laughable to read your post speaking about how good they are, and how many INTs they would have against OSU.

Ok, hopefully it's warm enough in Ohio for the jorts tiger, so you can match up with your Florida Gator brethren.

I never said Florida's DBs were good. Thats the funny thing. They are all very young and very talented for their age. Pryor simply cant throw yet, and thats why they would get INTs if he threw like he did Saturday. He threw a few great balls and a lot of terrible balls. And Minnesota couldnt hold a candle to Ole Miss.

If they played 10 times on a neutral field, Florida would win 7 IMO. Im sure Ohio State fans would say the same thing, but these are the same fans who thought that the 2006 team could beat the Browns

Beanie didnt even get 7 YPC againt Minnesota. What makes me think he is going to get it against Florida? The line, although it has the same personnel, was better last year. Beanie was better last year simply because that toe injury will slow him down all year. He didnt look like the same Beanie, although that hurdle got me on my feet cheering.

Florida's young D-line is better than Ohio State's o-line IMO and would control them up front.

Well, at least you took a reasonable stance in this thread. I disagree, but it was reasonable.

I am sure Florida fans have never made tools of themselves. Yes, I am sure. I know Georgia and LSU fans in New England. They actually went to Georgia and LSU. One, they despise Florida, and not each other's team. Trashy and disgusting fans were their words. Though, I will admit these guys are rather GQ, but then again, most of us at this school are that way. Two, they respect Ohio State, and think that most southern idiots are fools for thinking otherwise. They even admit it is bitterness from the Civil War (generational) and a general hatred for the north. They also believe that the SEC gets so much respect because most SEC fans, players, and coaches group together, and yell the loudest about their greatness.

You can mock OSU fans all you want, but Florida fans have a nice reputation as being trashy, ignorant, and obnoxious. At least Ohio State fans have that whole northern thing going for them.

Did I hear an OSU fan calling anyone obnoxious? No offense to you, but I have been to my fair share of OSU/UM games and I have never seen more obnoxious fans. I am talking middle aged men cursing out people.

I am in the south and one thing people have a huge problem with is the fact they say THE Ohio State University. Why the THE? Seriously. OSU is not a top academic institution, they are not nationally renowned for anything I am aware of, so why the obnoxious THE?

Other than that, I like OSU much more than any SEC team.

Because , " The Ohio State University" is the official name . Not Ohio State University . Maybe they are just being "politically correct"?

Just to touch on what huedawg said, if you google ohio state university(not sports but the acutal university) the first link says "Welcome to The Ohio State University."

From wikipedia.com

"Governor Rutherford B. Hayes foresaw a more classic, comprehensive university and manipulated both the university's location and its initial board of trustees towards that end. Later that year, the university welcomed its first class of twenty-four students. In 1878, and in light of its expanded focus, the college permanently changed its name to the now-familiar "The Ohio State University" (with the article "The" as part of its official name)."
