The offensive line was excellent tonight, I thought. My biggest critique with Pryor was his taking too much time to make decisions.

Well if you read my other post you can clearly see I didnt talk up the D. I was saying good job on getting the turnover. Is that ok with you?

the o-line was excellent especially brewster he is stepping up since he has gotten the chance to start...the defense wasnt too impressive tonight but they made the big play when they needed it the most

Wow, what a game. Pryor's first start away, at an evening game, in front of a very rowdy hostile crowd, and yes, as a freshman. He struggled at times but pulled it out at the end of the game. The win ended Wisconsin's 16-game home win streak. Whatever you say about any part of the game, that's impressive right there.
The headhunter, Valai, I think #12, is like a human train. I hope Herron is OK. The hit he took was painful to watch and it was even worse to see him fall motionless to the ground. With Beanie just coming back, he will be needed. Sanzenbacher took a hard hit, also, and he's taken many this season.
The play that led to Pryor's touchdown run at the end of the game is the one thing that opposing teams will have difficulty with, and the advantage we have with Pryor as QB. Valai anticipated Beanie would get the pitch and dove at him which gave Pryor the opening he needed to gain the endzone.

Did anybody see the ESPN woman interview Tressel after the game? She asked," Prior was running around on that last play, what's up with that?" Tressel looked at her all stupid and said," We were running the option".

True , however , this is very typical of rookie quarter backs . As he gets more reps in , his timing will come down and he will know what to do in very little time . This is to be expected .
