well I got my fishin license yesterday. and run over to bill's and grabbed me 4 dozen crawlers. I figure i'll just do some bottom fishin and pond hoppin so I can break out my lures again whilst the lake fills up.

last night me n mrs. bait fished till we couldn't see any longer. about 9:30 and we caught a big ole mess of big fat 2 to 4 pound channel cat's fishing with rooster tails, mostly chartreuse. and caught probably 10 smaller crappie. in about 2 hours. it felt so good. maybe another 14/15 inches and we'll be full
