Coach Kerns will have his bunch ready to do battle. I expect Trail with a big win

I'm from Bellaire and saw the game between Bellaire and Caldwell last season. This was supposed to be a two year deal, that was voided by Caldwell after seasons end. Caldwell did have a mix of underclassmen on the starting roster, but imo, not talented enough to have a good team or season This coming season.

Not sure who Kerns will have this year, but I’m sure his team will be well prepared. Will most definitely out coach Caldwell’s staff.

Why isn’t Trail playing Ridgewood again this year?

Buckeye Trail played 9 IVC schools last year, Barnesville being the only non. You are only required to play 7. Next year I believe Newcomerstown comes off and they pick up either Monroe Central or Shenandoah. Additionally, their crossover games change from Indian Valley and Claymont in 2019, so Ridgewood may fill that void. They had signed the contract with Ridgewood for 2016 & 2017 before joining the IVC, same with Newcomerstown so as administrators they decided to honor those contracts.

Know nothing about what BT's coaching staff will do, but I can assure you that Coach Gaydos and his staff will have the Redskins ready to play in Week #1. They have lots of kids returning this coming season and expect to make a move back in the playoffs.

Best of luck to both teams.

Trail is super young and will have almost all first year starters. Lost Davis, CizMadia, Snodgrass, Stillion, Stimpert, Hixson and Daugherty all two way starters. So replacing 14 starters combined. Return Grafton at Quarterback, Beaver at WR, McVicker at WR, Herman at OL, Parry at LB, Bridgewater at DL, Hughes at Kicker and Hickman at corner. The rest will be mostly sophomores. I expect

I formation offense
SR - QB
FR - RB
SO - TB
SR, FR, FR, SO, JR - OL
SR, SR - WR
FR - TE

5-3 Defense
SR, SR, JR, SO, SO - DL
Jr, Jr, So - LB
Sr, Jr, so, so - DB

I think trail is two years away.

Fer flog - Grant has the kids poised to make a run. This is by far his best team. He has the best Ivey brother in his senior year, I look for 8-2 to 9-1.

Think you should do a little more research on the teams. His 2016 football season was much better than the 2017 & upcoming 2018 will be.

Just think Dalton was the best followed by David.

I think Drew, Dalton and then David.

I think Drew can have the Tanner Clark effect, maybe I am wrong.

Many losses for Trail, especially #44. Probably left with school record for tackles and sacks.

Looks like Caldwell is back to form from a few years ago! Might give Cadets a run for PVC title.

You have four freshman starting offense... please tell me whom they are? Also Snodgrass,Daugherty and Hixon didn't start both ways normally.

Stillion RB and Corner
Snodgrass RB and Linebacker
CizMadia WR and Defensive Line
Daughtery WR and Corner
Hixson OL and LB
David OL and DL
Stimpert TE and LB

That's 14

The four freshmen may have been a stretch but I did hear they are gonna play a ton of young guys.
Give me some info if you got it.

I don't have any info, was hoping you could provide some... seemed to me a number of young guys played last year, hopefully for Trail that helps this year.
