I absolutely do not think that OSU ran up the score against Northwestern. OSU has been waiting all season, they've worked out the kinks in their offense and defense, and played probably one of the best if not the best games of this season. If Ohio State can continue to execute against Illinois and Michigan, it will show Ohio State fans everywhere that they have a lot to look forward to for next year. GO BUCKS!!!

Callin people liars for missing out on expectations? Cmon! Does that mean that those in the pickem contests who struggle to pick correctly 50% of the time are liars?

EVERY school has fans who have unrealistic expectations as to the talent level returning. The media and talking heads are the real liars if that is the right word. Two years in a row they put OSU in the title game and then called them overrated when they got beat. Maybe the talking heads are the ones overrated!

As a coach friend of mine has been heard to say, "The good news is we have everybody back. The bad news is we have everybody back." Why dont you spend as much of your lying posts praising the OSU players who could have come out early (like Vernon Gholston who has been a first round bust for the Jets thus far) but stayed in school. Almost unheard of these days. Give credit where credit is due.

Oh and by the way...what other Top Ten school has a true freshman leading them at QB?

okay gahs, you win.

QUIT HAVING HIGH EXPECTATIONS, you guys always get let down.

LOL. I would like to see how you would suggest other team's fans level out their expectations. Not many teams have won as much or more than OSU in the last 50 years.

I hope you are kidding. If not, you have cognitive problems.

Sometimes, expectations are unrealistic. Whether it be because of their past success or not, they are still unrealistic. It was unrealistic this season, IMO, to expect them to win the national championship. I said it before the season and I will say it again. I thought there was no way they would get by USC and Wisconsin. Turns out, they squeaked out Wisconsin, but lost to Penn State. This team wasnt as good as advertised and IMO, werent a top five team coming into this year. And after the loss of Beanie, they werent a top twenty team. With a healthy Beanie, they are around top 15. I dont think they are top ten.

no, they worked on things that you have to work on in big games. i don't agree with the announcers. plus it's a fact, the pollsters look at style points , i don't like that. but it's a fact. your job, is to line up and stop them, and when reserves come in they will be going full tilt as well. bottom line is a win is not good enough anymore if you are in a bcs chase.

Did anyone agree with Ware that OSU ran it up?

I personally felt there was nothing wrong with the fake punt and the score that followed it. I would rather have seen OSU take a knee than score that last TD in the final seconds.
well it is the defenses job do stop them
