Curios how the Valley/Norte Dame game went down. I thought i saw ND up earlier.

Notre Dame came out strong early and scored 4 runs first innning. Valley had a couple defensive mistakes that inning. Valley scored 1 in the bot half 1st.
No score change in second.
No score for Notre Dame in top 3rd.
Bottom half of 3rd valley scored on a rbi double, wild pitch and an rbi groundout to tie it up at 4 after 3.
Notre Dame scores 2 in the 4th on a wild pitch and a rbi single. Valley doesn’t score.
Notre Dame scoreless in top half of 5th and valley scores 2 on a 2 run HR. Tied up at 6
No runs in 6th or 7th or 8th for either team and Notre Dame doesn’t score in top half of 9th
Valley gets a runner on by hit by pitch and gets a second runner on also. Then a shallow pop fly behind second base allows a hit and the lead runner to score to win.

Well.... that’s not quite how it went down. ND tied it up with a 2 run homer by Taylor Schmidt. But same end result. Valley edged out ND 7-6. Great game by both teams.
