I was also at that game and can say the offense didn't even show up for this game, it was sad. I also heard the "fire snyder" chants. For everyone who says Marshall can't compete in C-USA all I can say is "Houston." Marshall blows out Houston who turns around and destroys Tulsa! Same players that lose to UCF. The coaching is what makes a team focus and prepared and right now Snyder isn't getting it done even though he has the talent to win C-USA this proves it.

I think why Marshall joined C-USA cause more teams do get bowl bids=MORE MONEY

It is more of a drive to the away game I agree with that, but if you want out of the MAC what other conf is there Big 10, Big East, or ACC  . They could be a football Indy but that would make no sense.

I have lived in H'town and have been to ECU twice, and I can say that there is little that ECU offers that Marshall doesn't. I live in NC now and I see no reason why anyone would want to go to ECU over Marshall.

Ask 100 people who have never been to either. That makes no sense. People may assume that Greenville is the beach, but that it is not.

They joined CUSA for money. Point blank. They opperate on a 165 million dollar budget now, instead of a 8 million like when they were in the MAC.

Point being, Snyder is not getting it done.....Period!

Marshall has a great history but it has also been accused of some violations that have hurt the program. It isn't as simple as saying that Snyder can't get it done at this point. In a couple more years maybe, and even then to expect success like in the glory years may be a fantasy. If your one of the opinion that the end justifies the means then that's what it is for you. Maybe the administration no longer feels that way.

I may not agree with you when it comes to the Big 10, OSU and Michigan. But I also know when to take the green glasses off and call a duck a duck. So, for the money, more bowl games and better conference, yes, this is why Marshall joined C-USA. Snyder? 4 years in 4 wins a season. He has the players to win in this conference. He has beaten the best teams in it. He has also lost to the worst ones. With that being said, he is not getting it done nor progressing the program. It appears to be stuck in 2nd gear. I agree, time to go unless he beats RICE and Tulsa and I think we know how that will go. I'm sick of the losing seasons!

For anyone that hasn't been to Greenville, please take the time to go out of your way and visit NOWHERE, USA. ECU is a commuter school, meaning that on the weekend you won't find more than 3000 students left on campus if that many. Don't get me wrong ECU does have somethings going for it, mainly it has Carolina girls and everyone knows Carolina girls are the most beautiful. That's why they wrote a song about them. Other than that there isn't anything worth going to Greenville for.
