From the video I saw, Coach Pendleton has them fired up.

What I seen appeared there was a good bit of speed on the field and the kids were playing hard. Ironton needs to get a short passing game going and I think they could really move the ball. I still have questions about the defense and where they are playing some of the kids. Good luck and kids keep up the hard work.

excited for a new chapter of fighting tiger football to begin.

I finally got to see the Fighting Tigers in the Passing event on Bob Lutz field at Tanks Memorial Stadium today. They looked pretty good, looks like the passing game is shaping up. The QB has a very nice arm, Receivers looked good with some nice catches. There’s still some work to do, but all in all, I was pleasantly surprised. The Backs, QB’s and Receiers definitely look to be in pretty good shape and hustled after each play. The Coaches were doing a great job teaching after each play as well. If the Lineman are working as hard, this should be a much improved Team.

I believe that Ironton QB went to Burg until last year. He is a good kid and is a good QB with nice arm!! If they give him time their passing game will be good and hurt teams they play. It’s going to be interesting to see their passing game this year!

A lot of teams are going with the midnight madness, not just around here. I don’t know how it all works but I don’t see how it helps, me I like the old school daylight hours early morning or evening.

Hey tiger faithful. Question to throw out there for anyone that possibly could help. Does Ironton have a 2nd grade football team? If so, does anyone know the name of the coach or contact info to reach out to them for a possible scrimmage, game etc. Any info would be great!
