2 solid linemen on each side of the ball for a start.
Then they could find a running back late, or
spend some cash.
This is Mike Brown though, so he'll likely draft another defensive back
and waste the remaining picks on taco bell and budweiser.
Agreed. They need to shore up their line before they can even think about doing anything else. Poor Palmer was getting killed out there.
Re: Will Beanie go Pro??
Beanie will probably go pro, but I think I can speak for many Buckeye faithful when I say that we all hope he stays at Ohio State for his senior year......................
Re: Will Beanie go Pro??
Is staying in college and possibly winning a Heisman or NC worth losing out on millions? If he wins a Heisman or NC and gets too injured to be the player most GM's probably think he could be, than you go from being a player who is going to make millions, to being a guy that will never pay for a beer in the state of Ohio. Which would you rather be?

It worked for Mike Hart, I know alot of bars around Columbus he could drink for free in.
Re: Will Beanie go Pro??
If I were Beanie, I would stick out my senior season, but that's just my opinion. Yeah, he could definitely go to the NFL and make millions, but finishing college is something I am very passionate about. Beanie is almost 3/4 of the way done with college, and only has 1 year left after this year. Did you know that quite a few NFL players don't even have a high school diploma?? I'm not sure of the exact numbers but it's quite a few......
Re: Will Beanie go Pro??
Well played Dubs---well played.
High School Diploma's? NFL prospects have to be in college for at least 3 years if I am not mistaken. How can anyone get into college without a diploma? If you could explain that would be interesting to hear.

Here's the direct link to OSU Scout:
http://ohiostate.scout.com/
They offer a 7-day free trial and then $9.95 for a month, a good way to see if you will utilize the site or not. Other subscription offers are available also.

i hope he stays , unless my bengals have the first pick, him or lil animal would work just fine. but i personally thinks he leaves, since they have no way of playing for NC this year.

I found this link. Its an article from the Dispatch. It says that Tress is basically trying to persuade Beanie to go. I really hope that he doesnt go, but with the injuries and now the apparent pressure of those closest to him it sounds as if he will.

Tressel has always has a policy that if the player is 1st round
or early second round material, that they should go pro and get the
money.
Often his guys come back and finish their degrees after leaving early as well,
so they get both their degree, and their millions.
