What is the attendance numbers for this game usually?

Just a few weeks away from playing one of the last Jackson vs. Wellston games. Can Wellston do the unthinkable and steal this one, or do we once again see the reason why this game is being discontinued with a beat down at the hands of the Ironmen?

Wellston has some speed guys and a good number of strong kids. Jackson has a lot of strong kids but trying to figure out where everyone best fits. Offensive line is probably the top concern but some good kids getting some looks there.

Jackson should probably pull away in the 2nd half but you never know. It’s very early. Jackson’s defense should be very very good.

Jackson should win this one as they usually always do. I remember several years ago when Wellston won by 20 or so I believe. That led to a 9-1 season for Jackson that year and if I'm not mistaken Wellston may have won 4 or 5 games. Have to play the game.

2010 was the last time Wellston beat Jackson, 33-13 under first year head coach Chris Hutchinson. Wellston finished the season 4-6 with close loses to Minford (23-21), NY (28-21), and Alexander (17-14).

Depends on where the game is at, but when its at Jackson then both sides are full and standing room after that and we all know how many more fans Jackson holds than wellston.

Wellston gives Jackson a game in the first half, but Jacksons speed and their athletes take over. the defense will be all over wellston.

Jackson’s Alumni Stadium has a capacity of 5750. I’m not sure about wellston. I’d guess C.H. Jones has around 1500-2000 seats.

Less than a week now.

The Ironmen opening things up with running/passing combo. So many different kids can rush and receive. Jackson doesn’t always show a ton vs Wellston with everyone watching, but I love the unpredictability potential.

I should know but am not sure without researching through old messages. Gallia, Logan and Athens are the top 3 schools they are looking at to replace
