South Point that much improved or is Symmes Valley fallen that far?osumufan wrote: Fri Aug 17, 2018 9:56 pmVarsity was SP 18 SV 0
2 nd half SP didn't dress the varsity, SV kept a lot if not all starters in and scored on SP's JV. Final 18-7

Re: JAMBOREE SCORE UPDATES!
What surprised me the most out of these jamboree games is Waverly smashing Portsmouth is Waverly that good or is Portsmouth that bad ? Anyone have any insight on this?

Re: JAMBOREE SCORE UPDATES!
134 dressing for the Burg how can that be . I know they enlarged the locker room this summer, but at that rate they should add a second story.

Re: JAMBOREE SCORE UPDATES!
Waverly looks solid to me, good skill position players. But Portsmouth is in for a long season. Varsity score was 27-13 so not too bad, only played the first half. Jv played the whole second half. Portsmouth had about 17 kids dressed for the second half lol they were gutted. Waverly looked like a solid 6-7 win team to me. Portsmouth a 2-3 win team. Of course it was just a jamboree, I’d love to be wrong about Portsmouth.scott1297 wrote: Sat Aug 18, 2018 12:32 pm What surprised me the most out of these jamboree games is Waverly smashing Portsmouth is Waverly that good or is Portsmouth that bad ? Re: JAMBOREE SCORE UPDATES!
Waverly is deeper, more athletic and has way more overall team speed than last year. The offense is in my opinion more explosive than last year. With a sophomore QB he’ll make some mistakes but man has he looked good so far. He is going to be a dandy by the time he’s a Senior. Tigers with a lot of underclasman making huge contributions.PTrojan59 wrote: Sat Aug 18, 2018 12:48 pmWaverly looks solid to me, good skill position players. But Portsmouth is in for a long season. Depends on what NY and West bring. Tigers have both of them at home so that helps.
7 wins are very doable and we’ll see how the beforementioned games pan out.

I appreciate the honesty. Just looking for a gauge. We’ll see what you think in a few weeks. Sounds like these kids may get overlooked and take offense to that. I hope for a healthy season for you all.smurray wrote: Sat Aug 18, 2018 2:33 pmThat’s hard to say Jolly, many deciding factors.Jolly P(irate) wrote: Sat Aug 18, 2018 2:29 pmThat’s awesome to hear.
