After looking into this game some more, I’m going to say the bucks bounce back in a big way and get a huge win at home. Will be tough though. I think Rusty will have the kids in the right mindset and they will be fired up to get back on track. Hope for an injury free game as usual and I hope the Martins Ferry faithful enjoy their trip to Boston Feild, great venue for Friday nights.

That’s just how bad the pass coverage has looked.Bernie Kosar wrote: ↑Sun Aug 26, 2018 8:30 pm After watching Trimble run at will against NY last night not sure how that could be a good thing ArmchairQB that a a team known for rushing is coming to Boston field. Adjustments I'm sure are coming so we shall see.

We need to get back to NY football. I realize last year we got away with throwing the ball all over the field but that was one of those "once every 10 years" type of QB we had. Not so this year. Line up in the I and the power I and hand it off to your D1 running back. In fact, we have 4 really good running backs and a QB who can run. Stop out coaching ourselves. This isn't last years team.

We are going to struggle in this one big time if can’t get our running game going to open up the pass game! Might get ugly!

Being a coach has to be tough ...
"Dave Boston football is outdated, you can't just line up and run it every down"
"We need to open it up and pass more"
"We need to get back to NY football and just line up in the I and run it down people's throat"

If Ferry passes the ball, with an efficient running game Nelsonville’s D could be in for a long night.

Ferry's run does set up their pass game. They don't pass often , but they are effective to 100 yards per game.Shamrocks 5263 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 27, 2018 3:30 pm If Ferry passes the ball, with an efficient running game Nelsonville’s D could be in for a long night.

This game is tough to choose. N-Y lost to Trimble, who's likely to go at least 9-1 and Ferry beat a Buckeye Local team with the longest losing streak outside of Fed Hock in our area. I think N-Y pulls some Juju out of the bag and wins 28-21.

If anyone goes 1-9 this year it would be Nelsonville. I personally hope they go 9-1, but 7-3 seems more realisticArmChairQB wrote: ↑Tue Aug 28, 2018 7:12 pmHoping your team goes 1-9.Shake”N”Bake wrote: ↑Tue Aug 28, 2018 3:38 pm Hoping for NY victory so we can get those secondary points but Im not so sure they can

Yes, just like you did 3 years ago. You people treat the Trimble game like it's your super bowl. Even more now than when Davey was there. Hell some of you are still talking about the forward lateral. And yes, go NY. "We need the playoff points."ArmChairQB wrote: ↑Wed Aug 29, 2018 10:57 amYou mean like 3 years ago?Shake”N”Bake wrote: ↑Tue Aug 28, 2018 8:16 pmFunny poop right there. I agree, it's tough having to adjust to the talent and abilities of the players each year. The great ones can do it though. Others don't and so win when the talent fits their scheme, and when they don't, well you have games like last Saturday night.
