Columbus Whetstone at Unioto for tonight has been cancelled. Whetstone cited the heat as their reason, Unioto will be having an intrasquad scrimmage instead lol

Hopefully it will be rescheduled for later in the season, as Unioto has a week off before the tournament draw.

A little more info (thankfully), Columbus City Schools had an early release due to the heat, which likely leads to their winter policy of no school, no extracurriculars. Makes sense now

man, there is a huge gap between a lot Schools in this area. I know that there kinda always has been, but I didn’t think it was that obvious like these scores.

The Athens coach needs a suspension for this.. what a freaking joke! Unless Sheridan was playing with 3 kids and no goalie, this is absolutely inexcusable.

At the SE District coaches' annual meeting at the end of last season, a motion was made and seconded to place a limit of ten goals as the margin of victory by member coaches, The motion was discussed at some length and the vote to defeat it wasn't even close. Anyone who voted against the motion has no right to criticize the Athens coach for a 20 -1 win. In fact, the coaches association is now on record of favoring a wild west approach as far as margins of victory go. If you don't like it, tell the coach of your local team to support a limit the next time the matter comes up. In the meantime, "Bring it on!"
