Ironton is still in region 19, Wheelersburg was moved to region 20.

Russell wins in low scoring game , Bith teams are equal ingibw the nod to Russell because TJ is a better coach . I’m glad the Tigers got a moral victory last week but those still count as A loss

An assistant coach from Russell has boasted about kicking the %$@* out of ironton, and would hang 50 points on them. Probably didn't like not getting an interview for the Ironton job. Probably a good thing with all his Fairview baggage.

Ironton in a laugher! Pendleton gets his first win as the Tiger's HC!

I loved how the Ironton team and staff lined up on the sideline after the game and I'm guessing they were singing the fight song or Alma Mater!!!!

Burg has sang the school song to the crowd after the game, win or lose for quite awhile. Nice tradition he has started there in I-Town!

I'm not an Ironton guy but through my business I know lots of the Ironton faithful.

Even after a loss, they watched the improvement. They saw the fight in their team and saw them never give up. They are excited again about football. Friday was a huge step in the right direction.

It was a small step of many yet to come to get the train back on the rails.

I wonder if in 15 or 20 years they will be calling for Pendelton to come back as they did for Lutz. He could be a very special coach in the making. Deservingly so because if you've ever spent much time around Trevon... I mean coach Pendelton, he is a fine young man with a tremendous love for the game and a work ethic beyond that. Its good to see him putting himself and some tradition into the football culture.

Ironton is a storied program and they certainly deserve it.

I like everything him and his staff are doing to bring discipline and fundamental football back.

Ironton will get it's first win of the season and show improvement in the blocking and passing game.
Confidence is what this young team needs and I believe the coach will help them build that and not over look Russel or Proctorville in order to get to Ashland.
Good Luck Tigers and may you play a mistake and injury free game.

Some say you show the most improvement from your first game too your second game. Regardless I think Ironton will roll in this game and get there first win of the year.
