If true that is a misapplication of the rule. A late hit is a dead ball foul. If on 4th down that penalty will be assessed after the change of possession.

Sorry used that term loosely. It was roughing the passer (personal foul) so it was assessed right.

After seeing the way Fairland played tonight. Next week vs Ironton has turned into a very interesting game. I was expecting a down year for the Dragons.

Bulldogs had chances to win this game...

There were def. some head-scratching penalties that seemed to burden Athens at key moments but that comes with being on the road...

The Bulldogs need to sure up the Coverage on Defense before next week...Dragons found open space in our secondary and burned us on several big plays...
