Good call Vegas, Germaine was the last true QB to come out of OSU. And the last well coached O-line was when Cooper was here.

Only thing I would rate Smith better than Germaine was his escape ability,Germaine was not as elusive although he could move fast when he got in the open field with no tacklers around but Smith was a nightmare for rushers wanting a quick sack

While at Florida, Urban Meyer's two non-Tebow offenses ranked 61st and 82nd in the nation.

Thank you......I have not been sold on Meyer as the savior........I would much rather find a good up and coming younger coach, and let the mercenaries fly by......... :12224

Tim Tebow and Percy Harvin aren't walking through that door.

As for the 61st and 82nd Offenses in the nation I will be more then happy to have them over the garbage we have now..... BTW I would like to know what OSU's Offense was ranked in 02????????By the numbers (national rank): 70th so this is going nowhere.... Numbers dont mean crap but National Championships mean everything

Rushing offense: 31st, 191.29 ypg

Passing offense: 92nd, 173.21 ypg

Total offense: 70th, 364.50 ypg

Scoring offense: 41st, 29.29 ppg

Rushing defense: 3rd, 77.71 ypg

Pass efficiency defense: 32nd, 111.94 ypg

Total defense: 23rd, 320.86 ypg

Scoring defense: 2nd, 13.07 ppg

Turnover margin: 18th, 0.93 pg

The biggest thing Meyer would do is help the 2112 class for now

Some are reporting an agreement in pricipleto a 7 year $40M deal. Also reporting some of the former/current coaching staff my join, including a new defensive coordinator. Fickell will remain as assistant, as it is being reported.

Do any of you smart people have any knowledge on this matter?

He can't until there is a job to accept!

OSU still has a very big game, and he's not going to sign anything until after the game.

Urban Meyer before facing #OhioState in national title game after 2006 season:
"Everything we do ties into building tradition...the Gator walk, singing the fight song with the student body. All those type of things I learned first at Ohio State."

He'll be here, don't worry.

Just sit back and watch the Bucks crush the dreams of wolverine fans everywhere on Saturday.

It is odd he keeps emphatically denying it,, Reports are he's already agreed and its a done deal, but he says he has not even been offered and not accepted a job, that don't make sense to me,,you would think he would be uncomfortable saying that,,if he doesn't want to impact the Michigan game he could just say I have no comment on that and won't talk about it,,it would be that simple,,,but with this much smoke flying around there has got to be a fire somewhere....

He has done just that,
Problem is he's fielding questions every 30 minutes from a different source.

The Ohio media is anxious to get him, the Florida media is turning on him for going home to his dream job.

1. It's funny people are skeptical because HE denies it. LOL, he has to. That's business as usual.

2. He requested off duty at Bristol tomorrow, ESPN agreed. Official announcement is expected for Sunday with press conference on Monday.

It's official. Urban's agent confirmed no less than ten minutes ago that he has signed.
