Waterford won’t be playing SG or East this week. Fort Frye has won 10 in row and Coach Huck has never lost to Waterford.

Not only is it the battle for bragging rights all along 339, but The Wildcats are the gatekeepers for The TVC. A win this week, and Fort Frye plunders the entire Hocking Division.

Football is another sport where Waterford has a great program going - tons of respect for what they have accomplished the last few years. For most of the year, these schools stand back to back and whip up on most of Eastern and Southeastern Ohio. Honestly, it's tons of fun. But once a year, Waterford shows up thinking this will be the year they beat Fort Frye. And once a year, Fort Frye finds a way to extend its winning streak. I don't see any reason to expect a different outcome in 2018.

Every year you go around town and hear how bad Waterford is going to beat Fort Frye. They are confident I believe they think it’s going to be a blow out. By the time Friday comes it will be 4011 days since they last won sept 14th 2007 that’s 10 straight losses. Fort has a great defense and I’m not sure how successful the power run will be for Waterford. I agree Bellville will probably be the best guy on the field but I think Fort could have the next 6-7 best players. This is a team sport that’s why I’m taking the Cadets.

This last game with Northridge is the first time you could say is the first time Fort Frye had Tate go win the game with his arm, and he was really on the money. Coach Huck likes the power running game, but that was the one thing The Vikings could slow down. Waterford will have a lot of weapons to prepare for this week.

Yea the Northridge DTs were very stout. Schob did get 55 yards in about 1 Qt of action but over half came on that fake punt.

I’m not saying Waterford will win but I’ve watched this game the last couple years and it has been a straight up battle. I look for the same this year. Key for Waterford to win is jump on the fort early and hang on to finish it. That was almost how it went down last year but fort made adjustments at half and wore down Waterford in second half. Chewed clock away and Waterford only got ball twice in second half. Waterford didn’t get anything going and fort Frye got the job done.

Waterford Offense plays right into the Fort Defense. The land shark defense is going to swarm the football. Isiah Jones is the best Dlinemen in the area. Fort has 4 elite backers in Hart, Schob, Huck and Fryman. DBs are all back from last year in Schilling , Engle and Fisher. This Cadet team is very good well balanced.
