Wow that would be THE BEST DE recruiting class in the country imo.

Well if that happens no way Pittman comes to OSU. Don't know if that would really matter lol.

Diggs is no longer a UM recruit btw. Still give him about a .01% chance to be a buckeye.

Hasn't been mentioned yet.

OSU was granted a waiver for coaching staff numbers.
It's a standard waiver, granted to teams every year when in transition.

In short, a team is allowed 10 paid coaches on staff.
These coach and recruit during the bowl/open recruiting window.
No more than 7 allowed off campus at any one time for recruiting.

This waiver allows for more coaches to be on staff.

Urban Meyer can be on staff, hire his full staff, and recruit nationally.
While Fickell and the current staff prepare for the bowl game.

Meyer can't be an active coach in bowl practice, but since Fickell is on staff and staying, he can coach and recruit if needed.

Meyer gets the benefit of not being able to coach and split time with recruiting. He is able to devote his entire December to staff hires and recruiting without worrying about the bowl game!

Stefon Diggs should be on OSU's campus this weekend.

Also, Jordan Diamond is making an official visit.

Update on #1 DE Noah Spence:

"Spence tweeted after Meyer called him that the Buckeyes were now at the top of his list, but it was unknown if that was just initial excitement or if it would turn into legitimate interest in Ohio State. It appears it has, as Spence has scheduled a visit to Columbus the weekend of December 17 per his father, Greg. The kicker is that it may be the only official visit the 5-star talent takes."

And in relation to Spence, this is the latest on Pittman:

"Se'Von Pittman has been committed to Michigan State since the summer, but it is well known Ohio State was #1 on his list before things went downhill around spring time. Pittman has talked about possibly taking an official to Ohio State of late and buzz is that it may happen this weekend or next weekend. If it does, I expect Pittman to commit to the Buckeyes soon after, where he would join longtime girlfriend and Jim Foster recruit, Ameryst Alston."

If the Bucks get Spence, Washington, and Pittman, the D-Line coach will have his dream job!!!

Strong possibility that OL Kyle Dodson flips his commitment from Wisconsin to OSU.

I can just see Belima's smug face now!

Iowa State OC Tom Herman will likely be the QB coach at OSU soon.

This is a special time in Buckeye Land. If Meyer gets the recruits and coaches he wants, look out B1G and everyone else in the country for that matter. At this point I don't think it matters what, if any, sanctions come from the NCAA. Meyer and OSU will weather the storm and be back on top very soon.

Tom Herman is officially the OC and QB coach for the Buckeyes.
He comes from Iowa State, where he was the OC.

Urban Meyer fired Jim Bollman and Nick Sicilliano in one swipe of the hand!!!

Meyer has said that he will be doing most of the play calling himself, much like Tress did.

Pardon the Interruption was smacking their gums tonight. Stating, how is the NCAA allowing Meyers to coach and fickle also. Stating " it is an unfair advantage for Meyers to be out recruiting and Fickle can just concentrate on the bowl game."
Seems like OSU can't pass gas without ESPN reporting it.

It's a very commonly issued waiver, the outgoing staff coaches the bowl game, the incoming staff recruits.

Did ESPN have a problem with it when Rich Rod and Michigan were given the same waiver?

How about the countless other schools that have been granted this waiver?
