Solid word that infractions verdict would be released no later than this Wednesday!

That would be exactly 1 year to the day that rumors that Tatgate was going to break began circulating. Infractions were officially announced one year ago, this coming Friday.

So well know very soon.

Spence is in.

Next on the board is
Kyle Dodson (OL)
Justin Diamond (OL)
Camren Williams (LB)
Keith Brown (LB)

And working on getting Sabino and Grant down to around the 230 lb mark for playing weight.

I don't think the walk ins will get rewarded this year.

They have to lose 5 over 3 years, so this first class will be full, or maybe lose 1.

Taylor Graham transferred, so his is open now too.

They are releasing the ruling to media at 2, asking for "embargo" on release till 3.

Watch college football shows tonight, Mark May's head is going to explode when he sees what OSU doesn't get!!!

1. 3 year probation
2. Vacated wins
3. post season bowl ban (2012)
Hmmmmm, where is J-townie and his smart remarks now? I wasn't told about the additional schollys taken away. My friend is pretty spot on.

I assume OSU can appeal this decision.

A 6-6 team with players involved playing in a bowl this year while next years team without the players or coach involved will have to miss out on the post season. Seems like some more fine work of gene smith

I, personally, don't think the bowl ban is a bad thing. It takes some pressure off of year one performance expectations and allows the staff to work out the kinks and develop the talent.

The bowl ban should have been this year but the NCAA new exactly what they were doing, sticking it to Ohio State. No excuse for the bowl ban not being this year with the players actually involved.

Ftiger45,

Thank you to my favorite Florida poster :122245 . Honestly I just happen to know someone who works for the NCAA. I knew he wouldn't not tell me the truth.

At everyone else who is complaining, Dubs laid it out for you during the summer, these things take time.

Gene Smith says OSU will not appeal any part of the sanctions.

Boosters played a big part in the extra punishment. Not until the stuff out of Cleveland came to light did the NCAA add the failure to monitor. Thanks a lot, Bobby G.

So far the 2012 on field staff is:

Meyer
Fickell (DC/Defensive play calls)
Vrabel (LB)
Withers (DC/Assistant HC)
Johnson (DB)
Herman (OC/QB)
Drayton (RB)

They can have 10 coaches on staff.
Have spots open for OL, WR, and TE.

In case you want to see future staff in this years bowls, check out the Pinstripe Bowl with ISU/Rutgers, it'll feature Tom Herman's offense. And also the UNC bowl game, where Withers will be the head coach. He was DC there when they built one of the best defenses in the country.
