The Bucks are showing improvement in different areas.
Hopefully they will be able to put it all together this week.

Bucks get their first win and gain some confidence for a tough Waverly team.

I think if they give Wilburn enough carries he will go for 200-250 yards. Nelsonville with the easy win.

Don't know if they win by 21,but think they do put 4 QTS together for the win.River Valley has played 3 tough teams to so can't over look them.

The schedule makers were not kind to the Raiders.ttomcat 80 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 7:30 pm Don't know if they win by 21,but think they do put 4 QTS together for the win.River Valley has played 3 tough teams to so can't over look them.

The combined record of the the first three opponents for these teams is 15-3. River Valleys being 6-3 and NY’s being 9-0. Pretty tough.

NY gets a healthy boost of RV this week. Ugly, early, often with a lot of 3 to go around. This is just what the doctor ordered and then it's off to a 7-3 or 6-4 record and playoff birth after many gave them up for dead.

Bucks go 5-5 this year at best but will improve.Ground Buck wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 11:02 am NY gets a healthy boost of RV this week. Ugly, early, often with a lot of 3 to go around. 5-5 is the worst they'll go. And after they win 4 in a row I can see them knocking Athens off in the finale cause coach Richards has their number. If they do it's off to the playoffs from there.FANOSPORTS wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 11:50 pmBucks go 5-5 this year at best but will improve.Ground Buck wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 11:02 am NY gets a healthy boost of RV this week. What has happened. I thought Nelsonville was returning most of last years team

They lost a lot, and they have faced the meat of their schedule early. Aside from Waverly the rest of the schedule is pretty soft. Athens will be the only other test, and by then the Bucks will be on a roll and should win that one too if they play to their potential.

They lost about 16 seniors who all started, or played a significant amount, as sophomore or juniors. They return a few letterman from last years team but the rest are all new to the varsity level. I'm excited to watch each game and see how the kids will go out and play for the orange and brown. I think the coaches do a great job with them from the summer on, just unfortunate how things turn out. Not looking ahead to say if they'll go 7-3 but i think starting each week 1-0 is a great way to start. Which is what the coaches preach to them every day. WIN THE DAY. GO BUCKS!Ground Buck wrote: ↑Thu Sep 13, 2018 11:41 amThey lost a lot, and they have faced the meat of their schedule early. Aside from Waverly the rest of the schedule is pretty soft. This will not be a blowout. The NY offense has been pitiful so far this year.
