Minford big in the end but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Mohawks come out and play hard early on. For some reason they tend to stick around and give Minford fits the first half when on paper the game should be completely lopsided.

Minford next year has added back Chesapeake week 2 and East Clinton week five. Not sure other non-conference opponents at this time.

It looks like this may be the last year for this game. I think Oak Hill is going to week 4 in '19. No disrespect to the NW kids b/c I know they play hard, but I'm glad the Falcons are moving onto greener pastures in competition. I just hope no one gets hurt and the game stays clean the second half.

Suprised NW scored on our 1st-team defense right before the half, but I have to give that kid credit that was on helluva catch on the QB- bomb. Now, on to Williamsburg!

The qb just turned 14. At most schools he would still be in Jr high. I believe Northwest started 5 freshman. Out of a little over 40 kids on the roster, they only have about 10 juniors and seniors. Half of the roster are freshmen.
