Pulling for our fellow SEC member Florida. The National Championship should stay in the SEC.

USC would give both of these teams the "PSU" treatment IMO....

USC, USC, USC, USC...

Say what you want, USC wouldnt put it Florida like they did Penn State...I dont think they would Oklahoma either...Florida would have done to Penn State what USC did as well...As would OU...USC is very good, but Florida proved they are the best team in the country tonight IMO...I may be biased, but oh well...They earned it...They deserve it...They ARE the best team in the nation...USC may have more NFL talent but this isnt the NFL...The Gators have the title and always will...

Go Gators.

I think Florida should have got to play this game in Gainesville instead of having to go all the way to Miami, This will never be a National Championship to me until they start playing it in the North as well as the South. Foxboro or Ann Arbor would have made a nice place to play this one. LOL Utah looks like the best team in the nation to me. They did to Alabama what no other team in the SEC could do. Send Florida to Pocatello, a nice neutral site, and play one more game against the Utes.

Did not watch, started to, but announcing got annoying so I watched 30 Rock and scrubs reruns instead.

Percy Harvin is the man the rows that ship. I love Tim Tebow, but Harvin is the best player on that team.

I am not going to say Florida is the best team---sorry. The system is the best we've had, but still too much room for error. Should Texas be in the NC instead of Oklahoma, or should USC or even Utah get a shot at the NC? Let's face it, a huge reason either team was in the NC was beacause of a conference title. Put USC in a conference title game against Oregon St. and then when they beat them to death, what then?

I agree as well with RRR---I am so tired of seeing warm weather teams play in warm weather or even in their back yards, take some of these bowls North and play them the way they are supposed to be played.

Florida wasn't as good as I thought they were...
They actually made Oklahoma's defense look decent for the first half.... the smoke and mirrors didn't fool 'em at all.
Of course, Oklahoma's offense was overrated - I think pretty much every one (except Sooner fans) saw that coming....

Florida played in Miami and LSU played in New Orleans. Dont call em home games please. Almost nothing compares to Tiger Stadium and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on gamedays.

Also, the BCS didnt pick the title game after Florida made it. It just happened to be in Miami. They had to go all the way to Arizona in 2006 and they still won. Im not bragging whatsoever, Im just saying that I dont think the fact that it was in Miami mattered much.

Warm weather gives you a chance to play your best football. If youre a passing team, you can actually pass. Think about Texas Tech playing a national title game in Foxboro. They wouldnt score. It would take away from their offense. Teams that play "cold weather ball" can still play their games in warm weather. It provides the best game experience IMO.

Also, ten or twenty years down the road you wont look back at this year and think of Utah and USC. You will remember who won the national title, and that is Florida. Say what you want about every other team in college football, but the Gators have the title and it cannot be taken away (atleast I sure hope not)

So Football should be played in the summer to give every team a chance.

Not necessarily, but when a national title is being played, it should be played in weather that provides equal advantage to both teams. A game in Ann Arbor wouldnt provide much advantage to anyone except cold weather teams who can play cold weather ball in the south.

Well since that's not fair to the Northern teams.Do you have suggestion that would equal it out for the Northern teams?

How isnt it equal? They have to travel rather, but they can play their same kind of football anywhere.

But if its still "unfair", then build a dome. I say we play in the Carrier Dome.
