Yea you beat Gallia and a win is a win but cmon man wake up. Burg would beat Gallia by 40 just like they will beat Jackson by 30. #overratedMike wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 7:21 amBut they didn’t! Doesn’t matter how many times you watched.buckeyenation wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 3:54 am You can’t hide on film that Gallia had plenty of chances to win that game. I’ve watched it twice.

Re: Jackson (3-1) @ Wheelersburg (3-1)
Not much changes in 1 year in this one i don't think , so : Last year Jackson in the playoffs lost to Independence by 25 and Hartley beat Independence by 30 the next game. That makes Hartley on a good night statistically speaking 55 points better than Jackson last year. Now, Burg beat Jackson by 24 last year and that's the EXACT point spread difference (55-24 = 31) that DID take place when the Burg lost to Hartley this year . Scary and weird, huh ? Anyway with that analogy it'll be the same this year.

I bet money he’s is reading every word wrote first hand. He knows this is the Super Bowl there is more pressure on this game than first round in playoffs. Jackson has a game plan and if any team rolls in town and embarrasses the champs it is my FIGHTING Ironmen. I saw where 3-1 D2 Youngstown East could drop to D5. If they drop to D5 and make the playoffs. They probably jump to the favorite in D5. Youngstown East is the size of Logan

They would have to lose over half their enrollment for that to happen. Their base enrollment is 482 with CB# of 47.Raider6309 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 1:46 pm I saw where 3-1 D2 Youngstown East could drop to D5. If they drop to D5 and make the playoffs. That hasn’t happened yet this year. I doubt it will be Jackson to start doing it. We’ve heard the same thing for the past 3 years.allamericanironman wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 12:47 pmDon’t be surprised when we run it down your throat! 23 points will be a good combined score! The boys are ready for the task at hand and are more than capable.Jolly P(irate) wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 12:36 pmNo. We are getting ready to play our 3rd DIII team in the first 5 weeks. Hartley is an elite program. Watterson is an average program for DIII. Jackson, with all due respect, is not on the level of Watterson. I hope your Ironmen have a good showing. It will help Burg out in the long run. But Burg wins by 23. Again.allamericanironman wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 10:05 am
Elite not good waterson not even playoff team! Desales you are even with your best team ever. My point is bring our playoff record into play is really scued. I don’t even know if there is a d5 school in Columbus. You have an easy road you are playing 3 d5 state champs this season.

To be fair I hate gallia. I am so shocked that we don’t play it is really terrible. I have no one to hate now. Wellston is gone you have to feel bad for us those are huge money games possibly 30000 to 45000 lost for them and us. Burg is the word now I guess. I really admire your program and I really hope YOU keep us on your schedule. The Jackson gate at wellston is more than the rest of their home games combined. Can’t wait to get this one started.

In a possibly related development, Jackson School District officials say they are investigating a situation involving a Jackson football player, but that no action has yet been taken and that an investigation to collect all the needed facts is continuing.
Jackson Superintendent of Schools Phil Howard issued the following statement on Tuesday afternoon: "We were recently made aware of an incident that took place in Athens on Saturday night /Sunday morning. Our Athletic Director is conducting an investigation to determine if any of our student/athlete(s) were present during the time of the incident in question and if so how they were involved.
"At this time, no current JHS student/athlete(s) have been charged with any crime by Athens law enforcement with respect to this incident. JHS student/athlete(s) will be disciplined accordingly if reliable information to the contrary is determined or if sufficient evidence surfaces during our investigation which indicates that a violation of the JHS Athletic Code of Conduct has occurred."

As an impartial fan, the answer is no and the game was actually closer than the score as turnovers and some crucial mistakes made it seem lopsided by the final score only IMO.allamericanironman wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 3:55 pmHartley played their second string half a game this year right?FANOSPORTS wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 1:11 pm Not much changes in 1 year in this one i don't think , so : Last year Jackson in the playoffs lost to Independence by 25 and Hartley beat Independence by 30 the next game. But what does all that have to do with the Jackson player ?
