Wheelersburg 37 Oak Hill 6

Post by Mad-Dogg »

Let’s get some thoughts on this one. Burg is coming in off a 33-14 win over Jackson while oak hill is coming in off a 40-7 win over Notre Dame. This will be the final meeting between the two as a non conference game. The oaks make the jump to soc 2 starting next season.

Cal Preps:

Burg 42
Oak Hill 6

I believe Burg will roll in this one. Oak Hill has won some ballgames so might be a competitive game. I think Burg still wins by at least 3 tds. No offense to Oak Hill but the Burgs level of competition just keeps making them better.

Saying before season Oak Hill would have 2 1,000 yard rushers, they should be able to keep it close if that’s the case.

Agree. It will be an eye opener next year for the Oaks in SOCII but at least Burg, West and Minford are in Region 20 . That just means if they would sometime qualify in Region 19 they would just have Martin's Ferry, Amanda, Ironton and Johnstown awaiting most years. We'll see this year as they'll probably go 8-2, maybe 7-3 but next year starts a new chapter and it'll be a lot more difficult to make it. :o

BURG by 4 to 5 scores but if BURG doesn't correct all those penalties might be a little closer also burgs secondary hopefully keeps improving

Still surprised that the Oaks beat Chesapeake and Rock Hill. The Burg with a running clock, would be very surprised if Oak Hill even scores at all. Very very much of a mismatch. Next year Oak Hill will see what Northwest went through playing football in the SOC-2.

Sad but true. I don’t think they will be able to compete in soc 2. That’s just me but I honestly don’t think they can.

I’m behind on talk here. Is oak hill leaving SOC for another conference or just moving up to SOC II? I thought they were already in 2?
