Where are the games going to be played? If it’s at the stadium I will go but if it’s at jr high field no seats and might miss it. Everybody else plays on their varsity fields except burg. I know they play the honor to play there for varsity only and work ur way up to play on that field. That’s what I’ve been told by few burg buddies.BigBlueNation wrote: ↑Sun Sep 23, 2018 8:34 pm West 7th at Burg 7th on tues.

I would say Jr high field.
I think Burg And West plays all Jr high games or Jr high fields. Northwest and Valley play most of their games on the Jr high fields.

Valley plays on the old high school field plenty of seats but the others fields problem is no seating!! Burg and and if memory has it northwest is standing only. Not one little bleacher that holds 15 people, but seats, lol. I been to west built into bank, nice.BigBlueNation wrote: ↑Sun Sep 23, 2018 10:38 pm I would say Jr high field.

Re: Jr. High week 6
I predicted
West 32
Burg 24
I knew West was pretty good.
Attitude, Effort and Hustle
You control that.
You control that.
Re: Jr. High week 6
I watched burg a few times and if they ran full house backfield nobody touches them. It seems when they get into that formation it’s 10 plus yards every carry. I ask a gentleman beside me why not just run that and he replied to me that it isn’t how they play in burg but to spread it around for learning high school playbook and how they do things there. Says it didn’t matter wins or loses but learning the right way!
Re: Jr. High week 6
Wheelersburg tried the T the 2nd half. Got 2 first downs. West adjusted and they stopped them.
West was the more physical team

Re: Jr. High week 6
They did but Burg didn’t stay in it is what he’s saying. Burg 7th is decent but needs to improve in a lot of areas. They’ve been beat handily by Jackson and west but west was the better of the two. Jackson just had a fast tailback. West was overall better. Burg has one kid that runs the ball right now. Other kids will have to step up next year, but I think this group of kids will be good. Burgs success In high school is an indication of a great program. I trust their process. This game will more than likely not reflect what happens in the future.
Re: Jr. High week 6
West may win again next year. Who cares? I was just pointing out that burgs success in the high school level speaks for itself. Heck we lost to northwest when I played in junior high. Blowouts in high school. I thought west did look good as a team. They played well and were disciplined.

That's how it should be. It's nice to win in pee wee and Jr high and even jv. I don't think is as important as some make it out to be. It's what they accomplish at the varsity level.14U wrote: ↑Wed Sep 26, 2018 8:33 amI watched burg a few times and if they ran full house backfield nobody touches them. Northwest has a history of being good in the younger age groups and not in varsity. Too me it's all about how three classes come together at the varsity level. A lot of kids will be playing completely different positions in highschool.
