Re: Who wins Region 27?
Big weekend for the top 4 teams.Betting man would take prep to win out.Betting man would say Prep number 1 seed.Trimble wins out 2 seed.Lucas 3 seed.Waterford at 8-2 4 seed.Southern in at 5 seed and Bern, fisher ,rosecranes and Caldwell for the last 3 spots.Trimble has back to back big games. Its possible they could go to 1 running the table.Waterford will have had only 2 loses and southern would have only 2 loses and chca would have 3 that's a lot of level 1 and level 2 points.

Toughest schedules in Division 7
1) Minster (3-1 D7 R28) 0.957
2) Danville (0-4 D7 R27) 0.935
3) Fort Loramie (3-1 D7 R28) 0.933
4) Delphos St John's (1-3 D7 R28) 0.902
5) Hamler Patrick Henry (1-3 D7 R26) 0.876
6) New Bremen (3-1 D7 R28) 0.840
7) Lucas (3-1 D7 R27) 0.819
8) Tiffin Calvert (3-1 D7 R26) 0.815
9) Warren John F Kennedy (1-3 D7 R25) 0.811
10) Edon (1-3 D7 R26) 0.811
This is what could vault Lucas to #1. If they run the table and beat Lima Central Catholic (big if) in Week 10, they get the #1 seed. A lot of football left to be played of course. Tough game this week vs DIII Columbus Centennial, and coming up vs Harrison Central, vs Cincinnati Aiken. All big schools. We will see.
Danville may get in with a losing record. 4-6 could do it.

Re: Who wins Region 27?
I don’t think Southern will be #5, if they lose to both Trimble and Waterford. Unless Belpre beats Valley, or if SG beats River Valley, none of the remaining six TVC teams will have any out-conference wins. Maybe if FH goes 0-10 it could help, but #5 only looks likely if they beat Ravenswood and (perhaps) if FC, BU and Rosecrans finish in some unlucky, unlikely 6-3 logjam.ttomcat 80 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 3:08 pm Big weekend for the top 4 teams.Betting man would take prep to win out.Betting man would say Prep number 1 seed.Trimble wins out 2 seed.Lucas 3 seed.Waterford at 8-2 4 seed.Southern in at 5 seed and Bern, fisher ,rosecranes and Caldwell for the last 3 spots.Trimble has back to back big games. Its possible they could go to 1 running the table.Waterford will have had only 2 loses and southern would have only 2 loses and chca would have 3 that's a lot of level 1 and level 2 points.

Didn't happen last night.Danville staying home at 5-5 or 6-4.Trimble's still number 2 yet to play tonight. If they win tonight them and HP separate them self from the field.dnis30 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 9:07 am Drew Pasteur's Ohio Fantastic 50

Re: Who wins Region 27?
Who ever finishes 5 to 8 in a lot of trouble.Right now top 3 plus Waterford region to win.The rest are really bad sorry to hurt someone's feelings but the truth hurts.Green over rated that league is really bad.Every year they take turns on which team will be good and dominate the league then get waxed in play offs.FC found out that not as good as they thought.Right now as it sits you could possibly have 6 to 7 teams out of 2 leagues n the play offs.HP, Rosecranes, BU,FC, Trimble, Waterford, Southern, The others that may make it Green and caldwell. I think 7 and 8 will have a 6-4 record.Danville at 5-5 maybe but they have to win out but last night think cost them.

Re: Who wins Region 27?
You can remove Caldwell from that list. Last nights blowout home loss to River means a 5-5 season. They won't beat Fort Frye, Barnesville or Shenandoah unfortunately.ttomcat 80 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 22, 2018 9:01 am Who ever finishes 5 to 8 in a lot of trouble.Right now top 3 plus Waterford region to win.The rest are really bad sorry to hurt someone's feelings but the truth hurts.Green over rated that league is really bad.Every year they take turns on which team will be good and dominate the league then get waxed in play offs.FC found out that not as good as they thought.Right now as it sits you could possibly have 6 to 7 teams out of 2 leagues n the play offs.HP, Rosecranes, BU,FC, Trimble, Waterford, Southern, The others that may make it Green and caldwell. Next week could allow some teams to catch up points wise to Harvest Prep, as they won't get any points playing a club team.

Re: Who wins Region 27?
DIII Columbus Centennial proved to be too much for Lucas. They had amazing team speed. Plus, Cubs lost their best RB/LB early in the first half. Lucas had the lead 24-23 at halftime, but the Stars hit some big plays in the 2nd half outscoring Lucas 4 TDS to 2. They will regroup.

Re: Who wins Region 27?
Big game this week btwn Trimble and Waterford, a lot of points hanging there for the winner. As for the rest of the region.
Even with HP playing a club team, their points will at least jump form 8.25 up to 8.622 and that's if none of their previously beaten opponents win. Just due to their divisor dropping. HP is pretty much locked in at #1 for the season, the race is for 2 - 8.
The tough schedule for Lucas is proving to be just that. They held on to the #2 spot even with a 3-2 record. I'm sure they'll improve to 4-2 this week as they play Crestline (who lost by 28 to Fisher Catholic).
Of course a Trimble win keeps the battle btwn them and Lucas tight for the #2 spot but a Waterford win would open things up for Lucas. All Lucas fans need to wear green this week
Fisher Catholic can make some headway with a win over Grove City Christ. Would give FC 10.5 pts toward their ave. and FC would really benefit if Crooksville could beat D3 Warren.
Green could improve their situation by increasing their level 2 pts with a Symmes Valley win vs. a D6 and and Sciotoville East win vs. a D5
Other than that, I don't see anyone else making a huge jump this week. Biggest game this week for Region 27 is Waterford at Trimble

Re: Who wins Region 27?
FC had 240 yards in penalties against Berne (yes, you read that right — lots of roughing the passer and other PF’s.) BU is tough, but beatable. FC had a disadvantageous first four weeks, as there was no week 3 game and week 4 was 41-0 at half. BU was game four for us, and our fourth straight one on the road. Tough rivalry, but credit to BU. They have a phenomenal running back. FC coaching also let that game get away from them – up 7-0 in 2Q, FC went away from what worked for them and threw nine straight passes, lots of quick outs and forces. Dumb, dumb, and dumb...ttomcat 80 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 22, 2018 9:01 am Who ever finishes 5 to 8 in a lot of trouble.Right now top 3 plus Waterford region to win.The rest are really bad sorry to hurt someone's feelings but the truth hurts.Green over rated that league is really bad.Every year they take turns on which team will be good and dominate the league then get waxed in play offs.FC found out that not as good as they thought.Right now as it sits you could possibly have 6 to 7 teams out of 2 leagues n the play offs.HP, Rosecranes, BU,FC, Trimble, Waterford, Southern, The others that may make it Green and caldwell. Re: bolded - TVC-Hocking is... not good. Trimble is really good, Waterford is solid. Southern... lost to Belpre (spotting 55.)

FC above BU, despite their loss in Sugar Grove. Gah... what I’d give to have won that game.
