Hoping for a good game here. River Valley has played a very tough schedule and Alexander is coming off a nice win over VC.

Good news for the Raiders....they get their starting QB Junior Jordan Burns back from a one game suspension. That will definitely help an offense that was non-existent against Wellston last week.

I really feel the Raiders are gonna be able to get win #1 this week! Go Raiders!

With River valley getting their starting quarterback Jordan burns back and getting Cole thaxton back and the junior Cole young healthy the Raiders schedule this year has been brutal . Then with all the injuries just haven’t had much luck . Don’t over look them the Raiders have nothing to lose . Rv in a close one

Glad your son is back. Sounds as if they missed him big time. I know that its had to have been a very long week for your son, also for old Dad as well. Good luck this week, as I think its going to be a real good ballgame. I hope both teams have an injury free game.

Thank you . It was very rough for him but it was a hard lesson learned . It’s been a painful year for the team . A lot of injuries and our coach getting hired so late kinda puts us behind schedule . Some kids effort need to pick up. But we will be ok . The kids will work hard the rest of year and off season and be ready for next year .

Next year? Still have 4 games in the here and now to do something! I get sick of the RV next year mentality, always looking ahead and missing what needs to be done now.

haha....Well it is always easier to say we are going to work hard in the future rather than the present.

You never know what Spartan team is going to show up week to week. I was surprised they beat VC after the way they played against the Rockets. I think with the return of there QB, that may just give River Valley the spark they need to get there first win of the year.

The above post is right. You never know what Spartan team is going to show up. Too many turnovers and penalties. I think this is going to be a very close game. Hoping the Spartans can pull it out.

Go Alex.

I'd love to see RV get their 1st win, but after watching them these last 6 weeks, and knowing nothing about Alexander's team, it's hard to say.

It's one game at a time but RV goal should be to have a winning record in these last 4 games. Good luck to the Raiders this week.
