Where will it be built ? Will the current High School be retained, or would it be needed ?

Current talks is that they are trying to buy a portion of the cornfield next to the school. If as goes as planned this will be a HUGE jump for Green. Including a new 1.5 million dollar football field and track, upgrades to baseball and softball fields, multiple practice fields, that could be used as a little league complex.
The school will be top of the line also.
The old school, except the gym will be torn down. The old gym will be a practice gym.

This could put Green at the front as far as facilities for a school it's size.

This is awesome and much needed ,would be great to see green get more kids coming to the new school , everything from Patriot ridge to the east is green school district.

In this day and age this type of thing is a huge waste of tax payer money. This is on par with building Clay and New Boston new schools. Why spend such money on a school so small. Ohio needs another round of consolidation not building more schools for 700 student districts.

Congratulations to the folks in Franklin Furnace. Buildings themselves do not educate, but should provide a conducive
environment.

A side note, I really must be getting old. I remember basketball games at the old township school back in the very early 1960's. Green, Clay, and South Webster played in a post season (double elimination?) tourney at the old Grant Gym in Portsmouth. The winner advanced to sectional play.
