Listened to the stream last night and #4 Rb Joe Torok took over the game on offense in the 2nd half although he was gimped up a bit. Hard hitting game both ways and Kirtland is huge. The lineman are 6'1" 275, 6'5" 210, 6'6" 310, 6'4" 290 and 6'3" 255.

Didn't Fort Frye play them 5-6 years ago? We were just happy to be in the playoffs and they were one of the best teams in the state. It will be a good measuring stick for The Cadets' program to see how far they have come.

I'm not going to pick against Fort Frye. I remember driving home from New Philly with our tails tucked between our legs. What was worse we're that a few posters seemed to take some sort of pleasure out of our loss.
Instead I will say this.
Go give it all you got next week. Ft Frye will have to play the best football they have ever played.

Kirtland is probably the 2nd best small school program in the state (only behind Maria Stein Marion Local). This means this would normally be a huge mismatch. The potential source of some hope for the Cadets is this version of Kirtland isn't an explosive on offense as others we have seen in recent years. Still going to take a lot of things going well for Fort Frye to get the win.
