Cherish these times with the kids....and spoil those future grandkids ovc!!!OVC wrote: Mon Nov 19, 2018 6:12 pm Not politically correct but I’m thankful first for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He knows I’m a sinner but loves me anyway. I’m thankful for my 2 boys and my “daddy’s little princess” who keeps me sane and will probably cause me to have a premature death by the time I’m 50! Thankfully I can let my boys handle the light work
Happy Thanksgiving!

As my British friends would say, good on ya Orange and Brown!Orange and Brown wrote: Mon Nov 19, 2018 5:56 pm I am thankful for the student Athletes and coaches at Nelsonville-York. I spend a lot of time working with and around them throughout the year that they all have become an extension of my family.
Our student athletes are an amazing bunch of kids, a lot of them I've known since they were 6-8 years old. People forget the things they sacrifice so we can watch them play.
Our coaches are all wonderful people who try so hard to allow our student athletes to succeed. People forget just how much time they spend preparing and how much time they sacrifice with their own families.
I am blessed to call our coaches and AD friends. I have learned so much from them.

I don’t like my joke near as much after reading how great these are.
It’s amazing how the Bible keeps showing imperfect people and allowing us to see no matter what our imperfections are that the blood of Jesus Christ is more than enough. I was talking to a friend who couldn’t reconcile his sin—he couldn’t get over it and I asked him if he thought his sin was too big for Jesus and if so that he was more arrogant than I believed. No sin is too big.
Thank God for that. Thank God for OHHS old timer too.

Re: What are you thankful for......
Let me take this time to wish all of and your families a very blessed Thanksgiving.
We all are and have been blessed in many ways. Family, health and friends come to mind at this time. Be grateful to the Almighty for always being around you...remember those who have to work on this day...protecting us from whatever may happen. Don't EVER forget those who are thousands of miles away in hell hole, separated from their loved ones while we sit down for dinner.
To the folks from AEP from Ashland, Ky....you guys and gals ROCK!!! You see these folks and their counterparts from Corpus Christi/Bay City, Tx restored power to my subdivision....10 days, 5 hours and 4 minutes after Michael roared through the panhandle. They will always have a place in my heart!!!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! By the way...I am one of those guys who will be working Thursday.
