UNC romps through the tiltle game just simply destroying the Spartans and win by 17 points at 89-72. They led by 21 at the half, 55-34, and set the record for most points in a half and biggest margin at the half in the champioship game. MS cut it to 13 a couple of times late in the game, but just couldn't get it any closer. Ty Lawson sets the championship game record with 8 steals, 7 in the first half.
Congrats to UNC on a very dominating performance.

Re: Michigan State vs. UNC- Boys BB Championship game
I found it odd as I was listening to the starting line ups before the game. I knew that Michigan State had Roe (Cleveland), Morgan (Canton Mckinley) and Walton (Lima) from Ohio starting along with the other 2 from the state of Michigan but North Carolina didn't have one kid thru the sixth man that was from N.C. (New York, Missouri, California, Maryland and Pennsylvania were starters and the sixth man was from Virginia). That's an oddity for Carolina but I guess the women's champ UCONN is the same way so pats on the back go to both Roy Williams and Geno Auriemma for good recruiting as both TOTALLY dominated their respective tournaments.
