Waverly at Minford Friday 12-21-18

Tigers were in a war at Wheelersburg Tuesday night, we’ll see how much that took out of them and whether or not they are refreshed, rested and ready for the short trip to Muletown.
Don’t know much about Minford but they usually have nice athletes and kids who can score.

Any thoughts on this one?

Definitely will be an easier drive to Minford with that new bypass.

I see Waverly being too fast and too deep for Minford. Waverly by double digits.

I really wonder if Minford can handle the amount of pressure that Waverly will throw at them all night long. Being at home they may keep it close for awhile. I hope its a good ballgame but I see the tigers winning also by double digits.

It was Waverly 60 Minford 53, but I don't know alot of the stats. Waverly was up by I think 18 at one point but Minford came back after some Waverly turnovers. Cody Remington had 14 points and Easton Wolf I think 12 or 13 points Trey Robertson and Ethan Dunn both had 9.

Close game, especially in the first half. Waverly depth wore Minford down & pulled away in 2nd half. Both teams played hard, without taunting or show boating. Swartz & Jenkins were two of the refs & they kept the game so much cleaner than Tuesday night.

Wasn’t able to make the trek to Muletown as we had 4 of our 6 children and spouses and 9 of our 17 grandchildren at the house tonight for our Christmas. The others are out of State and not able to make it.

Congrats to the Tigers on the road win tonight. Not sure what the practice schedule is but I’m sure they’ll get a couple days off for Christmas and then back to work preparing for the Holiday Classic and the first round game with a very good Eastern squad. Tigers have some unfinished business to take care, letting one slip away last year.
