It’s weirdSanta ho ho wrote: ↑Mon Dec 24, 2018 9:07 amSanta is always looking , but stop trying to make it seem weird or strange there was a rather large young man at the game with a player from ironton and knowing that there might be a transfer coming and was wondering if it was him . Just relax and stop tying to start trouble

That would be the end of a geeat series! Huge gate loss for both schools. I hope that game stays on the schedule!!State champ 72 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 25, 2018 12:40 pm I hear new coach wanting to drop them and play West.

I hope it does as well raven. I'd rather see them drop Russell for west if it came to that. I always want to see burg/Ashland, and Portsmouth on the tiger schedule.

Re: 2019 Ironton Tigers Outlook
I seen where Ashland dropped in class in KY , did that effect their schedule ?
Re: 2019 Ironton Tigers Outlook
Yes. They will need to pick up two more non-district games. There are four teams in their district, where the last couple of years there were six.
Re: 2019 Ironton Tigers Outlook
The Ashland game will never be dropped. Too big of gate and a great rivalry. The only game I see that could be changed is Russell. Although we’ve played a million times we really don’t see that as much of a rivalry. I’ve heard talks of over 70+ kids on roster this year with full freshman, JV and Varsity schedule. It’s been awhile since those days.

Re: 2019 Ironton Tigers Outlook
that tough, would be amazing . and a wonderful step towards a rise in talent. I realize that is speculative at this point. but having a frosh and jv team and a full schedule for them , well that's the cat's meow. and will do tons of good for the plays needed for these young kids.

Re: 2019 Ironton Tigers Outlook
If thats the case can they move the game so Ironton doesn't have to play Fairland early in league play? Im sure that would be ideal for both schools!

Re: 2019 Ironton Tigers Outlook
Heard the schedule stays the same. We will continue to play Wheelersburg and Ashland as long as they want. The story I was told the only game that’s in question of changing is Russell. Heard coach may want to use that game to schedule up in the future or play a team away from our area.
I also heard we have dropped the Ports. West scrimmage and will
now scrimmage Jackson. I hope this game eventually takes the spot of the Russell game.
