Pike County Holiday Classic
Re: Pike County Holiday Classic
Typical slobber knocker type of game. Congrats to the Indians on the win!
Re: Pike County Holiday Classic
Down to the wire to see who will advance to the Championship game to square off with the boys from Latham!

Re: Pike County Holiday Classic
The Eagles swoop in and snatches victory away from the Tigers!
The Eagles, wanting to keep the Pike County Championship trophy in Beaver for another year, advances past the Tigers to meet up with a scrappy Western Indian team that has cleared a spot in their own trophy case for the trophy as well. The Indians were victorious over the Piketon Red Streaks to punch their ticket into the championship game in the first contest of the night.
The Indians will be looking to avenge a tough loss to the Eagles already this season, but this time it is non-conference and all about bragging rights for the next 12 months. This should be an interesting and hard fought match up with the same level of intensity of the first two games.
The Tigers will face off with the boys from Piketon to slug it out for third place and attempt to avoid being swept on their homecourt. Looks like another night of slobber knockers are in store for the fans.
Good luck to all schools and may the outcomes be hard fought and injury free.

I’m trying to recall, when’s the last time Western and Eastern met up for the championship?

I don't know about that... I feel the SOC 2 would beat every SOC 1 team with the exception of Waverly tonight

darn Hoggy! U got me pumped! This tournament delivers every single year, I expect more of the same tomorrow. Hopefully the partying in Beaver don't go too late tonight, Western will be ready and I think it will be another great game. Piketon and Waverly similar styles and will also be fun one to watch.Hoggy wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 9:39 pm The Eagles swoop in and snatches victory away from the Tigers!

Well, the slate is set and the Eastern and Western part of the county is in the Championship. SOC I showdown!
Bar the door and set back to see who comes out on top after the dust settles. This should be a dandy to take in.
How will the Tigers come out and play after losing a hard fought game to the boys from Beaver? Will the Red Streaks rebound from the loss suffered at the hands of the Latham boys?
Good Luck Eagles, bring the hardware back home to Beaver!

I'm curious because I don't believe the holiday classic has ever been hosted by another school, so does the 4 county schools split the money in some fashion??
